Hello, we updated your theme today.
Since then, products can no longer be clicked on the category page because a strange popup appears.
We see a filter symbol on the left and an X for close above it.
However, the closing symbol has no function.
A customer brought this to our attention because he was unable to purchase products.
We urgently need help here.
Your theme is really starting to become a pain
Hello, PJone,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
1/ To effectively diagnose and resolve the issue you are encountering, we kindly recommend that you begin by deactivating all third-party plugins, specifically those not included with the XStore theme. This includes any caching plugins you may have installed. For your convenience, a comprehensive list of plugins that come bundled with XStore can be found at the following URL: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/.
Once you have disabled these plugins, please proceed to clear your browser’s cache and re-evaluate the checkout functionality on your website. It is conceivable that one of the non-standard plugins could be contributing to the problem at hand.
2/ We kindly request that you verify whether the issue continues to occur when the parent theme is activated. This will help us determine if the problem was induced by modifications made to the child theme files.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Why are you giving us a standard answer and not helping?
We have already tested this.
This isn’t our first problem with your theme after an update.
Only your Theme always causes difficulties.
We have over 15 licenses. I’ll really have to evaluate this.
The customer waits so that he can finally shop.
We have not installed any new plugins. Everything has remained the same. Only your theme has been updated.
Hello, PJone,
We are grateful for your swift reply and apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced.
We suspect that the issue you are experiencing may be related to cache inconsistencies. We kindly request that you perform the prescribed diagnostic tests while also ensuring that you clear your cache.
Should the problem persist after these steps, please do not hesitate to inform us and provide FTP access credentials so that we may further investigate the matter.
We would like to note that we have not encountered this issue on our test sites, and we have not received reports of such problems from other customers following the recent update.
Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
As I said,
We tested everything before we wrote to you.
We also cleared the cache and deactivated the “Nitropack” cache plugin.
Unfortunately it didn’t help.
Here are the FTP access data in private content
Hello, PJone,
We appreciate your prompt response.
We kindly request that you navigate to Theme Options, then select WooCommerce, followed by Shop Page Layout, and finally adjust the Sidebar Position For Mobile by changing it from Top to Off-canvas. This serves as a provisional measure.
Please be assured that we have escalated this issue to our development team for resolution. We will provide you with an update as soon as the matter has been addressed.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Dear @PJone,
We are pleased to inform you that we have implemented a hotfix, consisting of custom CSS code, which can be found within the Theme Options, under the ‘Theme Custom CSS’ section, specifically in the ‘Global CSS’ area.
body:not(.off-canvas-sidebar-opened) .sidebar-mobile-top span.et-close-sidebar.et-icon.et-delete {
display: none;
}
At your earliest convenience, we kindly request that you revisit your website to verify that the previously reported issue has been successfully resolved.
We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to your confirmation.
Best Regards,
The 8Theme Team
