Hi,
We want to have different urls for portfolio categories, but avoiding the „portfolio-category“ in between. Is there a way to create different versions of the portfolio template and passing the variable of the portfolio category within php?
Actually what we would like to achieve is to pass the portfolio_category variable through php, when calling the function etheme_portfolio().
Thank you!
Hi!
We just updated to the latest versions: WordPress version 4.7.1 + Theme version 3.5 + WooCommerce version 2.6.13.
Thanks!
Hello,
All the available settings for the portfolio permalinks you can find in Settings > Permalinks.
Explain in details what do you mean by “create different versions of the portfolio template”?
Do you want to create different layouts for the different portfolio categories or you want to create templates for the portfolio projects? If you want to show different portfolio categories in the different way then VC grid builder and VC Post grid or VC Masonry post grid element could be a solution for you.

Hi,
What we want to do is to create different versions of the template simply duplicating the portfolio.php file and setting the variable of the category filter in the template itself. For example to have a template „portfolioCat1.php“, where the results are already filtered for cat1 and therefore have an url like http://www.domain.com/portfolioCat1
Thanks!
PLease we need help!
Thank you.
Paula.
Hello,
If you need additional customization. Unfortunately, it’s not feasible for the support team to redo theme areas for every user, we provide support for theme options and theme bugs only. If you need additional customization I would suggest you contact our partners https://wpkraken.io/?ref=8theme
