Portfolio : text instead of link icon - by blackbool

Hello !!

Just wondering what code I have to enter in “content-portfolio.php” in order to have the text of the article instead of the linking icon appearing when I pass the mouse in front of the image.

Hello,

You need edit line 46 in the file wp-content/themes/legenda/content-portfolio.php.

If I understood you correctly you need add this code:
<a href="(here must be link to your image)">Some Text</a>

It didn’t work. Maybe it’s because we are in the portfolio environment ?
Should I modify the portfolio page or the image article ?

Sorry, I wasn’t clear.

I put this code on line 46 in the file wp-content/themes/legenda/content-portfolio.php. <a title="(here must be link to your image)">Some Text</a>

This is pretty much what I want to do : some text appearing when I pass the mouse over the picture.

The only thing : the text is very big 🙁

OK, I managed to do it properly,

We had to use the <B> tag

and I didn’t put the code in the right area
