Problem installing Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer – Blank site

Hello,
Everytime i try to install Ultimate addon for visual composer, i get a blank page. front side or admin section. I have to manually delete the plugin directory to get my site back to normal.

Any idea on what’s happening?
I saw that other users experienced the same problem, but i couldn’t see a clear answer to that problem.

Hello,

As I see you’re using old theme version. Please update it to 1.5.2 version and it its package you’ll find the latest version of Ultimate VC Addons plugin (in the directory royal/framework/plugins). You can upload new plugin version via FTP.

Hello,
I just did the update to 1.5.2 as told, but nothing had changed. I still experience the same scenario. After installing the Ultimate VC addon (either by upload or by install missing plugin from theme panel), i have a blank site.

Could you take a look at it please ?

The whole website was down for 3 hours now, due to maintenance. I renamed the Ultimate_VC_Addons folder to get it up again. Please Take in consideration the downtime during testing.

Hello,

The problem is related to your server configuration.
There is an error when the plugin is activated:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init()

You need install curl extension or ask your host to do it.

That’s it. It was indeed the problem. It worked like a charm after installing curl on my server.
