Greetings,
I have problems with scrolling the slider images on the single product page.
The thumbnails are visible only if I select the gallery with the thumbnails in a “vertical” position but, on the user side, the gallery arrows and the images are not clickable.
Scrolling through photos only works if the first one is zoomed.
Thank you
Hello, @adriano,
We recommend that you try disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins) that do not come bundled with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/), clear the cache of your browser, and then check if the issue persists. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the problem.
If the issue still persists, please keep all third-party plugins deactivated on your site and grant us permission to debug your site, which includes deactivating all third-party plugins and on-site customizations. This will allow us to investigate the issue further and provide assistance accordingly.
Please note that you should take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.
In addition, please provide us with your site’s WP Admin URL and credentials and the FTP Login details in the private content area of this topic, so that we can investigate the issue further.

Hi Tony, before contacting you I tried your solution, but nothing changed.
There seems to be a similar problem also on the “shop” page where the filters don’t always react (to delete them you have to reload the page and that’s certainly not a good thing). Also there is an issue with the add to cart button it seems to load forever.
They all look like Ajax-related issues to me but I wouldn’t want to get it wrong.
I also found this forum post reporting similar issues to mine:
https://www.8theme.com/topic/child-theme-issues-with-product-gallery-and-ajax-add-to-cart/
I’ll give you administrator access, I’ve already done backups and more.
Thank you
Hello Adriano,
We apologize for any inconvenience caused, but we kindly ask that you do not enable the Disable Theme Swiper Js Library option in Xstore >Theme Options > Speed optimization. Please clear your browser cache and check your slider again.
If the issue persists, we would like to request that you provide us with the URL and temporary access to the WordPress admin of your website. This will allow us to take a closer look at your settings and provide you with a more accurate and specific solution.
To do this, please follow these steps:
– Create an account via Dashboard (Users > Add new) with administrator role. Refer to the following image for guidance: http://prntscr.com/s3rc9m
– Provide us with the username and password for the newly created account via the Private Content area. Refer to the following image for guidance: http://prntscr.com/s5mao7
– Any email address can be used for the new account, it does not have to be your personal email.
Once you have completed these steps, please let us know and we will promptly review your account information and provide assistance as soon as possible.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
Hy Tony,
Thanks for the quick reply, I can’t identify the item you are asking for in the Speed optimization menu.
I am attaching a picture of my menu so you can see what I have enabled and what not.
I’ll report access to the administration area in the private area if you want to log in and check.
Thank you
Hello @adriano,
Thank you for providing the login details. We have reviewed your website and determined that the issues you are experiencing are due to the additional code you added to the child theme. When we activated the parent theme, the issues were resolved.
We recommend that you review the code you added to the child theme files. Please note that we are not responsible for any custom changes you make to the child theme.
Thanks for your understanding.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
Hi Tony, thanks for the feedback.
I did what you tell me by deleting the child theme and reloading the “original” one present in the theme package.
However, the problem hasn’t changed and it still doesn’t work.
All settings made (except a few lines of CSS) were made within the Theme Option.
Can you help me solve?
Thank you
Hello Adriano,
We would like to request that you provide temporary FTP access. If you need assistance in creating FTP access, please contact your hosting provider.

Hi Tony,
grazie.
Hello, Adriano,
Thank you for your response.
We’ve released new update for the theme and XStore Core plugin. Please do the update on your site.
Let us know if the problem persists after that.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Hi Tony, I upgraded but unfortunately nothing changed.
I also noticed (if it helps) that thumbnails placed horizontally are not visible, I don’t know if it helps.
The problem seems to be related to the activation of the child theme (which however has no additional code).
The most evident thing I notice, by activating and deactivating the child theme, is that the navigation menu of the site built with the appropriate Header Builder disappears.
Thank you
Hello, Adriano,
Fixed. Please check now.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Hi Rose, Thanks!
May I ask where was the problem?
Just to prevent it from reoccurring in the future or that another user may have the same problem and does not know how to solve it.
Thank you
Hello, Adriano,
It is rare, but it can happen if someone has used Elementor or even if they haven’t used it but enabled this option – https://prnt.sc/BoCJCCHScPto
In the latest update, we added a check to ensure that the option described above is only shown if the Elementor page builder is present on the site.
We did the next steps to solve the problem on your site:
1/ access via FTP and change https://prnt.sc/nFAXxTE5e7EP (defined(‘ELEMENTOR_VERSION’)) to https://prnt.sc/IyKUKN3-If1L (!defined(‘ELEMENTOR_VERSION’))
2/ Theme Options > Speed optimization > Disable Theme Swiper JS > Off
3/ change the code in the speed-optimization.php file as it was.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
