Hello,

here is the link to my website shop: http://lillys.fr/le-magasin/

I bought WPML to create a multilanguage website like you told me too in a previsous conversation and everything is working in english but when I put my website in french some sentences/words are still in english in the Shop page, Checkout page etc so all about the woocommerce plugin.

(just so you know the based language of my website is in french)

Like you said before I checked the PO file named “woocommerce-fr_FR” with POEDIT and I found out that everything is well translated.

I also checked on the “wp-config” file to see if wordpress was well set up and yes I opened the “wp-config” file and everything was well set up –> define (‘WPLANG’, ‘fr_FR’);

So now my question is:
– is it the “woocommerce-fr_FR” that is not good?
– is it the legenda theme that have a small problems?
– or maybe I have done something wrong??

I do not know where to find an answer or where to find a solution.

If you can help me that will be great, thank you very much.

As we can see you didn’t create transnational file in lagenda/languages directory.
Please read carefully how to translate in our documentation: https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/#!/how_to_translate.

Hello,

I have read the document “how to translate” in your documentation.

-So I have opened the default file “default.po”
-Then realize I need to translate everything myself

But first I have question, for instance when I open my shop in french “http://lillys.fr/le-magasin” and found out that all the words that I want to translate are not even in the list on the “default.po” file.

here a small list of them:
– Choose an option
– Product Information
– Sizing guide
– Quantity
and so on…

So I am not gonna translate 1469 sentences and at the end all of the word that I was supposed to translate for the woocommerce shop are not translated.

I do not have any problems with translating document and articles etc, my problem is only on the woocommerce plugin and I am not sure that doing all the procedure “how to translate” will fix my language problem in the shop.

What do you think?

Hello,

We’ve connected to your FTP and checked the legenda/laguages/default.po file. As we can see all mentioned above lines are present in the file.
Could you please clarify the issue?

Thibaultcomte – I have the same issues. Would you mind sharing your fr.mo and fr.po files? Or Jack – do you have a french translation that you can send me to start from?
