I cannot use static blocks because my visual composer isn’t appearing. I’m assuming its a required update and my verification code for registration is not working. Providing ftp and login credentials below.

I’m having the same issue with the visual composer not appearing on the static blocks area. How do I correct this?

In wp-admin panel go to Settings > Visual Composer and select Content Types.
