Hello again
I have a problem with the website search engine, it does not give me specific searches, I explain in more detail on the page
We do a search for example: colmanara, and it doesn’t give me any results and this product exists, neither in the search engine that I have on the home nor in the search engine that I have in the store.
https://tropicalorchidsportugal.com/produto/colmanara-alkmaar/
Even using just for example: colm doesn’t show me any similar results.
I have been able to observe that it cannot be found because the product is out of stock. It would be possible for it to show in the search all the products there are, only in the search, since the products are usually searched for by customers because they include botanical care sheets.
Hello, @DAVID,
We are writing to inform you that we have confirmed the issue you reported is specific to your site. Upon testing on our end, we found that ‘Out of Stock’ products do appear in the search results.
For your reference, we have attached screenshots from our test site:

1) Should you desire to display out-of-stock products in your search results, we recommend disabling all third-party plugins that are not included with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/). This includes cache plugins. Following this, please clear your browser’s cache and check again. It is plausible that one of these additional plugins is the root cause of the issue.
If the problem continues, we kindly ask that you keep all third-party plugins deactivated on your site and provide us with permission to debug your site. This process includes the deactivation of all third-party plugins and on-site customization. This will enable us to conduct a thorough investigation and provide you with the necessary assistance.
We would like to remind you to take a full backup of your site before proceeding with these steps.
2) We kindly request you to attempt activating the parent theme and then revert back to us with the results.
3) We recommend Update the Xstore theme and Xstore Core plugin to the latest version.
The most recent versions available are 9.1.14 for the theme and 5.1.14 for the core plugin. You can review the changelog at the following link: https://xstore.8theme.com/update-history/ and check again.
Please follow the next steps:
– unregister theme – https://prnt.sc/fIdNdLjNXJai
– re-enter the purchase code and register the theme
– go to Dashboard > Updates > click Check again link https://prnt.sc/yygl09
You may try to update the Xstore theme & Xstore Core Plugin after that and you should not face any issues.
Or do the update manually via FTP – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/
– https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/plugins-update/
We kindly recommend that you take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Our support team is always available to assist you.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team.
Thank you very much for your help
We have disabled all third party plugins and the problem persists, and we have updated Xstore and Xstore core
We have also tried to delete the product key record but it is impossible, perhaps because it was initially an LPG product, I do not know how to enter the key of the product we have purchased.
I propose the following, I have cloned the website on another domain where all the tests can be done and the problem can be found without this affecting access to the tropicalorquidisportugal page that is active and offering sales and then apply the changes in tropicalorquidsportugal
I am attaching the access information and asking for help to solve this problem.
Thank you
Hello, @DAVID,
1/ https://prnt.sc/PBQdyDIzLKa1 – you did not activate the theme correctly. It looks like you are using a pirate version, so we can’t be responsible for its work.
You need to re-upload the official theme and Core plugin and activate it using the official purchase code – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-find-your-themeforest-item-purchase-code/
2/ About the search, just uncheck this option https://prnt.sc/14_QmFxhBB6D and check then.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
thanks for your help
It is not a pirate theme, it is a GLP and I paid for the product, I also have the official license, but I don’t know how to make the change without affecting the theme and the changes that have already been made.
On the other hand, the search solution is not correct, we want to continue hiding the out-of-stock products but show them in the product search. Since if you uncheck that box it will also show the products that are out of stock in the store. That is why this option exists within each product.
Thanks for your help

Hello, @DAVID,
We appreciate your prompt response.
From what exactly site did you purchase XStore?
We sell the theme on ThemeForest only, and activation using a purchase code is obligatory.
Provide FTP access, so our dev team can take a closer look at the situation with the search.
To create FTP access (FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, FTP encryption) , please contact your hosting provider for assistance.

Hello, @DAVID,
We appreciate your response. However, after a thorough examination of the access you provided, we have identified a discrepancy. While you have one license, it appears that you are using this single license for three separate projects on the websites (links in the Private Content area).
To ensure compliance with our licensing terms, we kindly request that you provide us with three separate licenses corresponding to each of these projects. This step is necessary to validate your usage and to continue the support process for all your websites.
In our admin panel, we have detected the presence of files that are typically associated with pirated or non-licensed versions of our theme. It’s crucial to understand that such files may contain invalid or compromised code, making them incompatible with our official support.
Our commitment to protecting our product and customers is paramount, and we must adhere to our licensing terms. Regrettably, we are unable to provide support or guidance for websites using themes that are not in compliance with these terms.
We appreciate your understanding, and we hope that by addressing this matter and providing the necessary licenses, you can ensure the legitimacy of your theme installations. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or require assistance in this process.
Kind Regards,

Hello, @DAVID,
About the search behavior, we understand your request, but with the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront it works in the same way. We would recommend you contact support of WooCommerce plugin https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/ , because this situation is independent of XStore.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
