Problem with upgrading IDSore - by faith@headstoneministries.com

    This was your reply when my Single Product Page got severely messed after I ungraded the Theme:

    Please create an individual topic for your issue.
    I’ve checked your site and looks like you have some problem in files. Also, you do not have a child theme, it means that changes that you made in files of parent theme will be lost after theme update. In your case, I would recommend to try to solve the problem in this way:
    – activate some default theme on site;
    – rename IDStore theme folder via FTP;
    – upload latest IDStore theme version and activate this theme version that doesn’t have any custom changes;
    – clear cache and check if all works fine;
    – create a child theme and transfer your custom changes into child theme if this is needed;
    – activate the child theme on site, and if all works fine, delete the old theme version.
    In result, you will have 2 theme folder (IDStore – parent theme and the child theme), the child theme should be activated on site.
    Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    I did not follow your instruction because I did not know what I was doing And was able the the help of blue host to restore my site. However I am back at the same problem needing the theme upgraded as the featured products will only show two products regardless of how many are chosen to be featured.

    I downloaded Child Theme Configurator to create a Child Theme But this is what comes up after site is analyzed:

    “Notice: Array to string conversion in /home3/headsto2/public_html/store/wp-content/themes/idstore/code/options.php on line 32″
    Please contact this Theme’s author and report the items inside the box above. You may or may not be able to use this Theme as a Child Theme while these conditions exist.
    It is possible that this theme has specific requirements to work correctly as a child theme. Please make sure you are using the latest version of this theme and check your theme’s documentation for more information.”

    Again, I don’t know what to do or what I am dooing…I don’t want to wreck the store again!

    Please, provide us FTP access. We’ll help you with child theme and parent theme update.

    Also note that the Theme has lost all its add to cart buttons.

    Hello,

    FTP that you provided goes to the empty directory http://prntscr.com/i3srxt. So, please, provide us FTP access to the directory where your WP installation is located.

    Hello,

    We’ve created the child theme, updated some plugins and uploaded new theme version. Please check your site now. Your old theme was renamed, so if all works fine, you may delete “IDstore-old” theme via admin panel > Appearance > Themes.

    Thank you very much the sight looks great, however I still see one problem – the Add to Cart button is still missing on everywhere including the top bar. Can you help.
