Hi, I’m having a situation in regards to visual composer and unfortunately my developer is no longer supporting his work. So I’m here to ask for your help directly.
Our site’s homepage at http://gvca.org/ was setup using the shortcode mapper in order to create the sections with background images. The section backgrounds use image id’s instead of file names, which make it very difficult to locate and change images – something we’re required to do on a regular basis.
Our developer is telling us visual composer isn’t working right and to edit the shortcode in the classic editor when we want to change an image. But we want to use visual composer. That’s why we bought your theme, for the supposed ease of use.
Here is the code for the first section.
[et_section img="275" section_border="no-border" parallax="0" mt="0" mb="6" pt="80" pb="80" el_class="firstsec"][vc_column width="1/1"][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/2"][vc_column_text el_class="yellowtxtcon"]
Is there an easier way to change background images of these sections? I can’t expect the office manager to locate image ids. It was supposed to be easier than this. The formatting on the frontend and backend editors aren’t making it any easier. Here’s a screenshot of the backend editor. It appears to be missing information http://www.screencast.com/t/GK8z8BID
Here are the versions we’re working with:
Visual composer Version 4.12.1
Lagenda Version 2.11
Wordpress Version 4.6.1
Please advise, thank you.
