Problems with mailChimp plugin, breaks or disables some Widgets,
1- The store sidebar and categories do not appear
2- The description and information tabs of a single product page are not visible
3- The search section of the header does not work
4- The section of brand logos, disabled, only one is shown
5- Loading images, there is a delay and it blinks the images, etc.
This means that in the view for the user in Front-end outside the account all these errors happen, I did the test with all the plugins, and the mailChimp plugin is the one that causes this problem, the plugin is deactivated at the moment but I need fix the problem to use it, Thanks.
Hello, @oscardc,
Alright, please enable the plugin again and then share your site access with us like the below format in the private content area so that we’ll check and assist you accordingly.
WP Admin URL:
WP Admin Username:
WP Admin Password:
Kindly please take the complete backup of your site, first.
And I also need your permission to debug your site, which includes deactivating all the third-party plugins and on-site Customization as well.
Regards 8Themes Team.
Everything is done, you have permission to debug your site, which includes disabling all third party plugins and also customization on the site.
Hello, @oscardc,
Thanks for the logins to your site. I have checked your issue and found that the issue is caused by the child theme because when I enable the parent theme the issues you mentioned do not appear on the site after enabling the MailChimp plugin.
Now, to know how to solve your issues please watch this complete video for a better reference: https://streamable.com/2b6i9h
Note: Please watch the complete video and follow the instructions carefully.
Regards 8Themes Team.
I have ALREADY done everything you indicated in the video and everything is still the same, the same errors as before.
Now I want to clarify something, in the steps that you indicated in the video where you wrote: (Activate the child theme,
then go to the theme options, Then “IMPORT” the child theme settings from the theme options, In the word “IMPORT” I think I should have written “EXPORT”, because otherwise it doesn’t make sense, also after I wrote that I should Import the file but this time with the active parent theme, by not specifying which file I should import, I deduced that it was the one I had exported from the child theme.
I DID THAT AND THE PROBLEM PERSISTS.
If I’m wrong, please let me know and explain again, thanks
Hello, @oscardc,
Alright, No need to worry, I have made a detailed video for you on our test site and show all the steps. Here is the video link:https://streamable.com/mywzyr please watch the complete video.
Regards 8Themes Team.
That was exactly what I did from the first time, it was what I understood from the beginning and it DID NOT WORK, the errors continue, I only told you because I had the doubt that you had written IMPORT, where it should say EXPORT,
Either way, it’s clear that the problem isn’t with the child theme or the layout. It is something else, as an extra fact, I tell you that with the mailchimp plugin activated, the store works correctly within the Administrator, User, client or any other account, but outside of it No, nor in incognito mode yes is out of an account, and in the mobile version something similar happens, sometimes the menu icon does not work out of the account.
If you, based on your experience, believe that there may be some other reason, PLEASE, I would appreciate your help.
Hello, @oscardc,
I have checked your site the MailChimp plugin is activated see image: https://postimg.cc/Y4h0YrCr and you have changed your site logins because your provided are no more valid as you can see in the image: https://postimg.cc/87kctPsQ
Please share the valid access of your site with us in the private content area again so that I will check it again.
Regards 8Themes Team.
I don’t know why the beginning of the section has changed, I haven’t touched it.
And yes, leave the mailchimp plugin active so that you can verify that everything works correctly within any account but NOT when it is outside.
I resend the access, let me know
Hello, @oscardc,
Thanks for the access again.
The plugin MailChimp is enabled and I just clear the cache from the WP Rocket plugin on your site see image: https://postimg.cc/CzGdQn4r
And here are the result images of each and every point you mentioned without login into your site.
1- The store sidebar and categories do not appear (Check Result: https://postimg.cc/5Q1WYyFj )
2- The description and information tabs of a single product page are not visible
3- The section of brand logos, is disabled, only one is shown
(Here is the resulting image of the 2nd and 3rd points: https://postimg.cc/D4yFpmfH )
4- The search section of the header does not work (please check this video: https://www.veed.io/view/b9bd8642-9e0c-4d91-b13f-f660be93ebb0?sharingWidget=true )
5- Loading images, there is a delay and it blinks the images, etc. (Check this video it is also working fine: https://www.veed.io/view/29ad44e2-e84f-40f2-af09-d6ed69c2f0c8?sharingWidget=true )
So it is clear that it was nothing but a cache issue. Please note: that whenever you made changes from the backend or from the theme option each and every time you have to clear the cache from the WP Rocket plugin to check the results.
Regards 8Themes Team.
I appreciate your interest in helping me, although I had already done this cache test, and it always returns the same errors.
What’s more, every time I make a change in the backend I clear the cache of the WP Rocket plugin to verify the results, I even go to the control panel of my server and clear the dynamic cache, but then it returns the error, and it only happens when there is NOT an account connected, it is very rare that an error only happens when there is NOT a user account connected and with a specific plugin.
I thought it could be some function disabled in the theme options, but if you think it has nothing to do with that, what can I say.
And my question is, if you had not already seen this problem or something similar?
Hello, @oscardc,
To be very clear, we have not faced such issue before, and no any other customer notified this issue to us, you are the first one.
And I am sure, it has nothing to do with our theme, as you also claimed that it happens sometimes and not every time, so if it is because of our theme then it should not have to show even a single time as well. Right?
Finally, I have provided you with all the possible screenshots and video proof as well, that when I debugged which I explained in my previous reply it worked.
Now the final solution is, I suggest you to try on any other computer on a very fresh browser where you did not access your site before and check the behavior.
Regards 8Themes Team.
I want you to know that I greatly appreciate your help and interest in helping me, I have NO complaints, I just explained that part of the possible solutions that you suggested, I had already done.
On the other hand, assuming it wasn’t the cache either, what other mail marketing plugin would you suggest that would work well with your theme, for example MailPoet?
Thanks again
Hello, @oscardc,
I really appreciate your patience as well, but our theme is fully compatible with the MailChimp newsletter plugin, the issue you were facing on your site was just the cache issue nothing else.
But if you do not want to use it then you can google it and try with any third-party plugin which better meets your requirements but at your own risk.
Regards 8Themes Team.
