    Hi,

As described in the title, product carousel is <b>randomly</b> not showing some products category. Btw, I checked products settings of the category non-showing product but it’s setup correctly. So it’s totally random. Screenshot attached.

    2. Also, product category and product tag is blank in some single product page. This is also happening randomly. Screenshot attached.

    Hi Luca,

Thank you for your response but maybe too much basic. I’ve been asking enough questions before to understand that I need to be in incognito, cache cleared etc.
And I’ve of course tested on many browsers including Chrome, Safari, etc, on mobile, desktop, and tablet.

Please at least scroll left-right on the masonry. You could also notice that there’s not only one masonry but many on the landing page.

Let’s not waste both of our time.

    Thank you.

    Dear @Mario :),

We hope this message finds you well.

Upon a detailed review of the source codes, we have observed that the WordPress core utilizes the following function to store various terms (such as categories and tags) into the cache system and it seems there were some conflicts between your cache plugin & server cache system:

    wp_cache_add( $post->ID, $term_ids, $taxonomy . '_relationships' );

We kindly request your assistance to completely disable all caching mechanisms, including server and plugin caches, and to monitor the system for 2-3 days thereafter.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your cooperation.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team.

    Hi Luca,

I did as you said but the issue is still here.

You can also check using the query /?anything
    The proof is here.

Also, I’ve contacted the server support and they confirmed me that it’s not related to the cache plugin/server cache.

    Please make a further check.

    Dear @Mario,

We hope this message finds you well.

Upon reviewing the issue, we have found that when we manually resave a product experiencing the category display problem, the product category is correctly shown after the update process, as demonstrated here: https://prnt.sc/A7EV4HxA7gQX. Based on our analysis, it seems that the products in question were imported rather than manually created on the current website. This issue may arise due to certain problems on WooCommerce’s side during the import process. We recommend resaving a few products manually to see if this resolves the issue.

Additionally, we observed that when we resave a product without a displayed category, another product that previously had the correct category may lose its category display. This leads us to believe there could be some limitations or another underlying issue related to product categories.

Given our findings, we kindly ask if you could test the issue using the default Storefront theme. If the problem persists with the default theme, it would indicate that the issue is related to WooCommerce plugin or server side rather than our theme. Could you please conduct some tests with the default theme to check if the product categories are displayed correctly?

If possible, we suggest deactivating all plugins except for WooCommerce and Elementor, and then testing the issue again. We would greatly appreciate it if you could provide us with feedback on the results.

Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to hearing from you.
