    Good afternoon,

So my store is a clothing store and I want to have both clothes for men and women.

I have setup 2 menu columns:

    His – 6 sub items
    Hers – 6 sub items

I am trying to achieve the following and I was wondering if you could help me.

When the customer clicks His, I want the customer to go to the male page with just the male categories and products. How can I fix the Product categories to just show the categories that I want?

When the customer clicks the sub item ( example – Vests) I want the customer to go to the male page showing the categorised male page.

    Thank You

    Howard

    Hello,

You can create pages “His”, “Hers” and add them to your menu. In the pages editor add Product Categories element from Visual Composer editor and type category ID you need to display.

    Hello,

    I have the same issue/problem.
I already added the menu “women” and “men” so I need a category overview for each page.
Is there a documentation how to create such a category overview page? Because actually I do not get it completely.
You say that I should add the element “product category” on the page “women” for example? I don’t have such an element. I just have the element “products”. In that element I can add an ID but a category does not have an ID. I tried the slug but that does not work.

Am I just searching in the wrong direction or what is my fault over here?

    Thanks for helping
    Christian

    Hello @creeb,

You can try to use Products element from Visual Composer editor and there is a field “Categories IDs”. Enter category id you want to display.

    Thank you.

Ok, thanks. So I was in the right direction to use the element “products”. But the second part of my problem was that I can’t find any IDs in my categories. I tried to use the slug as ID but that does not work.
Of course I can find IDs for products but that is not what I need. I need a category overview on my “women” and “men” pages. Means I click on “women” and then I need an overview of “clothing”, “bags”, “accessoires” etc.

Hope that explanation helps to help me. 🙂
    Thanks a lot
    Christian

    Let me be more concrete:
I need this overview page for women as well as for men and kids: https://www.8theme.com/demo/legenda/shop/

Of course the preview pictures in the middle (“men” and “women” for example) will be replaced with the actual categories.
