Product Gallery Not Displaying Instead Linking to Picture

Hi 🙂

Once in a product and I click on one of the images in the product gallery, the page reloads to the image page rather than appearing as a gallery.

How do I fix this?

Hello,

Please update the theme to the latest version 3.3.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/blanco/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

I did this but still can’t see any updated settings in the Blanco theme. Do I have to activate this or should they appear automatically? I can see in the product now that there is supposed to be an Editable product page – where do I find those settings?

I can see a page builder now which is awesome!

The images changed as well after logged back in before implementing your instructions. Did you change any settings while you were logged in?

From what I can see, the files have all been updated but I’m not sure if I can see any updates in the backend. Can you please send a screenshot of any change that should appear?

The gallery for the products don’t seem to be loading correctly. Where are the settings for the gallery images?

Can I set a Category thumbnail image without the image appearing at the top of of that page in full size? I want to set a thumbnail for the clothing categories for the Men / Women pages etc but they are at the top of the subcategory pages which takes up so much room. Is there a workround for this?

And some of the product images aren’t appearing systematically – there’s two on the first line, then three on the second and third. How do I make them appear all in a logical format? And why is one product image larger than the others?

To confirm – the issues I’m having now are:

1. Products are listed unevenly – the first row only has 2 products while the second and third rows have 3 products. How can I make it show all products from the beginning?.
2. Product images appear different sizes in list – third image is always slightly wider.
3. Category thumbnail images appear at the top of category pages too – can we include a category image without it appearing at the top of that category page and just work as a thumbnail?
4. I’d like to hide the author names in the blog posts too.
5. The Layer Slider Plugin says it needs authorisation – and I thought I updated the plugins from your instructions above. Can you please check if I’ve missed a step?

Hello,

1./2. Please provide us with FTP credentials. Have you edited original theme files?

3. Sorry, but I don’t see category image in product category pages:

4. Add this code in custom.css file:

span.meta-sep, span.author.vcard { display: none; }

To create custom.css you need rename default.custom.css to custom.css in wp-content/themes/blanco directory via FTP and enable it in Blanco – Theme Settings, tick “Enable Custom CSS file”.

5. All plugins are external extensions which are included into theme because for each product we purchase “Extended license” and that’s why we are able to include it into them. This plugin works fine without activation and you can always get actual version if you want directly from us. The plugins can be downloaded from this link https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ . We update plugins with theme updates from time to time so plugins will be also updated with each next theme update. The option with registering of the plugins has been already added to plugin and this only allows you to get automatic updates and support for this plugin directly from an author if you need. You don’t need to register this product because it is not required but if you want to get those features, then you need to purchase this plugin directly from the author. This is how it works for all themes on Themeforest and not only in our case.

Thanks for all this!

1/2 – No I haven’t edited the theme files – only updated them with the latest versions. Logins in the private section.

3. I changed the Shop page to display the clothing products rather than the categories. I think I’m just going to create images to use instead of using the theme ones but I’d love to know why they’re like that. The shop displays the Categories now and I’ll set one thumbnail in the Mens category.

4. I can’t find this file in the File Manager.

1./2. I’ve updated the theme to 3.3 version. Please clear browser cache and check the site.
3. I’ve created custom.css in the directory wp-content/themes/blanco and added this code:

.cat-banner { display: none; }

Please check product category page now.
