Product Options on Single and Variable Products

Seems that ever since we installed the XStore theme, our product options plugins won’t work on anything except Variable products. Used to be they would work on both. Is there a setting I can change to alleviate this concern?

We are using the Product Add Ons Ultimate from Plugin Republic. The developer of this plugin says this should not be the case and they should work on both.

Hello,

Go to Theme Options > WooCommerce > Single product > disable the Ajax add to cart for simple products. Check if the add to cart works fine after that. Such plugins do not work with the Ajax add to cart and require the default Post method. Let me know about the results.

So this worked initially, but since the recent update, it no longer works. Ajax add to cart for simple products is turned off, yet, the page doesn’t redirect to the cart page, and some features are broken as if it were enabled again. The page just refreshes when a product is added to the cart, and then displays a green message saying the product was added. Is this a theme issue?

I have already tried clearing caches, and it did not fix the issue.
