    Please update theme to the latest version from themeforest.net. Don’t for get to create the backup of your site. How to make an update you may read here. Please note that all modifications in theme files except custom.css will be overwritten and you may create Child theme to save them.

    With best regards

    Tried this and it took down a lot of stuff that seems like it is outside of the Custom.css. . .]

    edit: I have a child theme and all custom.css is in the child theme. I would love to figure out how to get up to the latest version though.

    SO I have the upgrade in, and it solved the problem, but none of the styling options are taking, including the theme options options, like the background color.

    I got it. When you update the theme manually, you need to update the theme-functions with this line:

    wp_enqueue_style(“style”,get_stylesheet_directory_uri().’/style.css’);

    All set. You guys have been a huge help so far!

    yes, I think you should look into the update issue though where it doesn’t carry over the CSS automatically.
