    Hello,

We are building a new site on a different URL, and I want to highlight a few issues.

1- After updating the theme product pages are not visible showing a fatal error. All the plugins and theme is updated and tried by shifting the theme.

2-1 There is another weird issue in the header of the website. In a newly launched template, If I move to the About Us or any other page, the home menu still shows active. Please check the screenshot for a better understanding.

2-2 In the SS you can see, I’m at the contact page but the contact page and home both seem active. I realized this problem is also available on your website in the theme demo. Please find the screenshot.

3- I can see in the new template there are some major changes, and one of them is the website header which is not Xstore customized but developed by Elementor. So I need to know how can I make both the top and bottom header sticky instead of just the bottom.

Screenshots are provided in the private content area for security reasons with admin access.

    Thanks!

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello, @Shehzad Ghazi,

2-2/ Upon reviewing your website, we have observed that you are currently utilizing the Mega Menu element. However, we noticed that there are no sub-menu items included within it. To enhance the functionality and appearance of your site’s navigation, we kindly suggest switching to the Nav Menu element.

We trust that this recommendation will assist in optimizing your website’s user experience.

Should you require any further assistance or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Hello, @Shehzad Ghazi,

1/ Updating a child theme typically won’t erase your current changes.Child themes are designed to inherit functionalities and styles from their parent themes while allowing you to make modifications without affecting the parent theme’s core files. When you update a child theme, the changes you’ve made directly to the child theme files should remain intact.

However, it’s always a good practice to backup your child theme files before updating, just in case something unexpected happens during the update process. This ensures that you can easily revert to the previous version if needed.

    2/ You are welcome.

Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Best regards,

    Hello Tony,

The active menu issue is still there, I thought updating the theme might fix all the issues, but still active menu and product page issues are still there.

    Hi @Shehzad Ghazi,

For the active menu items issue, since you’re using the mega menu but it doesn’t have any sub-menu items for now.

We suggest you to switch to the Nav Menu element instead:

    Hi,

Thanks that issue has been fixed.

Another issue appears product description is enabled on product pages but the description is not visible.

Also, I am not able to display the variation table the way we have displayed it on our actual site. I am attaching both links in the private content area.

I also noticed that the child theme that is installed on our actual site is different, with version 0.0.1., and the site we are developing has a different child theme with version 1.0. Not sure if all these issues are because of the child theme. And what if we use the same theme that is installed on your actual site?

    Please contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hi @Shehzad Ghazi,

Since you’re using the Elementor for Single Product Builder, please add the Short Description element below the product title: https://prnt.sc/LK81Bjnx8MMa

Also, I am not able to display the variation table the way we have displayed it on our actual site. I am attaching both links in the private content area.

Does it support shortcode or something else? So we can add the shortcodes to Text Widget element.

I also noticed that the child theme that is installed on our actual site is different, with version 0.0.1., and the site we are developing has a different child theme with version 1.0. Not sure if all these issues are because of the child theme. And what if we use the same theme that is installed on your actual site?

It’s fine. You don’t have to care the version of child theme if the codes of functions.php file are the same.

    Hi,

“Does it support shortcode or something else? So we can add the shortcodes to Text Widget element.”

It is a default option in the variation table plugin to display the table so once we do it from the plugin, the table will by default show on the products with the variation, not those products that don’t have variation and use the theme default option for a non-variant product, I believe by adding the shortcode it will create a mess on those products which doesn’t have variations.

The screenshot I have shared above shows I am using xstore customizer not Elementor and a short description is there but can not be seen in the front end. Something must be going wrong.

Also, I have shared the video link in the private content area, please have a look. The elementor header is not good xstore customizer was better. Please help me fix the issue, how can I make it smooth?

    Thanks

    Hi @Shehzad Ghazi,

Your actual site is using the default template for products(not using Customizer/Elementor Builder) so the table will display automatically.

The site you are building is using the Elementor Builder for products page so you have to copy the shortcode to the HTML/Text Element.

We’ve copied the shortcode to HTML element for and the table is displaying. Could you please check again?

    Hi @Shehzad Ghazi,

What about the video I shared above about the header please check that, and let me know how can I make it smother.

We’ve disabled the XStore Sticky Header and enable the Motion Effect > Sticky for 2 containers of header. Now it’s working correctly.

Find the screenshot, this is the mess I was talking about above. How can I shift the product page to default instead of any customizer or elementor same as our actual site,

Please go to the link to edit the Single Product Builder and remove the condition, after your product will use the default template.

    Dear Mr. Shehzad Ghazi,

We hope this message finds you well. We would like to request your assistance in creating a new template for the Product Categories Archive pages. The template should be configured to meet the following display conditions:

[Product Categories Archive Template Display Conditions](https://prnt.sc/BPAuS9NT7fIB)

Additionally, we suggest adding a new section above the products grid to prominently display the category description. Please refer to the following screenshot for a clearer understanding:

    [Category Description Placement](https://prnt.sc/N7IinZvH8QtR)

Everything seems good but still dropdown menu breaking here.

Furthermore, we recommend reviewing the tutorials for setting up the mega menu, which can be found at the following link:

We appreciate your attention to these requests and look forward to your prompt action. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Dear Shehzad Ghazi,

We hope this message finds you well. I am writing to assist you with setting up a simple sub-menu as per your request.

You can add the sub-menu items directly as illustrated in the screenshot provided here: [https://prnt.sc/bzc0L5x39xVq](https://prnt.sc/bzc0L5x39xVq).

From the screenshots you have shared, it appears you are utilizing the Archive description, which by default displays content from the default description. You can view this here: [https://prnt.sc/OGNimoGmmgky](https://prnt.sc/OGNimoGmmgky).

Additionally, we have incorporated a Text Element that pulls in the second description for your convenience. Please review it at your earliest convenience here: [https://prnt.sc/a1Tr4TNnzoGa](https://prnt.sc/a1Tr4TNnzoGa).

Should you require further assistance or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
