Product Short Description Disappears, Not Working

Hello,

I’m working on a mockup e-commerce site and am having a problem getting the product short description to function and display. When adding a product, I see the field that says short description. I will type in the text, click Update and the text disappears from the text field. It also does not display on the website. Here’s a link to the single product page. You can see that the short description field is empty. I cannot get that field to populate with text since it disappears every time I click save or update in the dashboard. Any suggestions?

Have you made any changes in the original theme files?
Please provide us with FTP credentials in Private Content.
