Product View Option – on hover show text over the price

Hello,

I’d like to have the same effect of price (numbers) turning into a text on hover that is shown in this demo: https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/shoes/

I imported it in my site, but I get the message that this is deprecated and I better use Product List,Grid or Carousel.

However, I’m unable to find how to achieve this particular effect with them. Can you please guide me?

I hope this message finds you well. We regret to inform you that the hover effect you inquired about is no longer featured in our new Elementor widgets. This decision was made due to the complexity and limited popularity of the effect, which required extensive hardcoding and specific structural combinations.

We understand that some of our demos still have this effect in products on some pages; however, updating all designs on our pages to reflect the capabilities of the new widgets is not feasible at this time. If the hover effect is essential for your project, you may continue to use it by implementing our deprecated Products widgets. Please note that these widgets are not scheduled for removal, but they just do not include the latest optimizations and advanced coding techniques found in our new Products grid/list/carousel widgets.

We encourage you to explore the hover effects available in our new widgets. These have been developed from scratch, incorporating a wide range of options designed to meet the needs of approximately 95% of our customers.

Thank you for your understanding, and we are here to assist you in finding a suitable solution that meets your requirements.

Thank you for your reply, Jack. However, I would appreciate a more straightforward response to such a specific question.

For those who prefer not to spend half a day scrolling through options, here’s a quick, actionable, step-by-step solution:

1. Go to Theme Settings > WooCommerce Shop > Shop > Products Design.

2. Select “Light” in the first option and “Swap” in the second. I also like to select “Lazy Load” from the settings bellow, which gives a nice smooth loading effect.

3. Done! Now your shop archive has this cool look and if you want it on just a few items on your homepage, use the Standard (not the theme ones) Product List – screenshot bellow.
