Hello,

Check now. I’ve disabled “Show Excerpt In Content Product” via Theme Options, because the content of the excerpt caused the layout issue.

That’s great, thx. Refresh my memory, where was that selection made? Could you show a screenshot. Just can’t remember where/how i had that selected 🙂

Hello,

1) Do you mean “Show Excerpt In Content Product”? Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Products style
2) Please provide temporary FTP access, so we can check it more deeply.
3) Theme Options > WooCommerce > Single product page > Tabs > Tabs type > default.

Not sure whay that happened. Yet the issues seem to have resolved themselves. Brand dropdown is working great now. Maybe the other tweaks you did helped.

Is the search you show in your video you custom develop or you added that using plugin?
If you use the third-party plugin to add that search then you need to contact the plugin developer to get help with that. If this is your customization then submit customization request here to get assistance.

There is no 3rd party plugin for this on my site. It is all standard within xstore. I just want to know how to add the search fields and menu options on a new page. Basically allowing the user to access a page that has the 3 search options I have on the home page. Just need to know how to add them as widgets, perhaps? Just can’t see where/how to do it.

Hello,

Search element that you used on that page is the Elementor – Header, Footer & Blocks plugin element, not XStore theme element. Unfortunately, it does not have option to search by brands, or show the categories select, or show the search results like products grid and we can do nothing with that because we can’t edit that plugin, we are not developers of that plugin. You may contact the plugin author to ask them to improve the search element and add the mentioned features for that if it searches the products.

We have only search form in header and it searches by product name, description, SKU and allows to enable product categories select to search in that category. We don’t have search by brand. We have only filter by brand widget that works on the shop archive pages.

Ok. Yet can you tell me how I edit the page that loads after a search is done? So visitor searches, sees results of search in new page that loads showing products: that page displays very large. How do i control/edit that page that appears after the search? Typically the product pages display as desired, smaller. Yet for some reason search results done this way display pages with massive product images and the grid is big. Please test and see what I see:

As for search result issue is concerned you can set the Search results page settings by going to Dashboard > Theme Options > Header Builder > Search, you will be able to change the settings. http://prntscr.com/puo6g9
