Promo pop-up how to link to an email - by sophie

Hello,

I’ve created a promo popup for my website but when I clicked subscribe the following message appeared.

‘Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.’

I think I need to tell wordpress where to send the subscription email to (i.e. my email) and I don’t know where I can fill in that information.

Also, the promo popup pops up whenever I go to a new page, unless I click ‘do not show this message again’. What can I do to make it only appear ONCE when someone lands on my website but not every time when the person clicks to a new page?

Hello,

We can’t see any problems with pop-up windows. When “Do not show this popup again” is checked the pop-up window doesn’t show anymore.
As we can see you’re using 3rd-party plugin for contact form. Please check it with default theme and if problem still persist you should contact contact form plugin support team.

Hello,

Yes I installed contact form 7 mentioned in Legenda documentation. But you might be able to see if you enter your information on the contact form, the error message appears. Please let me know if it’s possible to create a subscription form without installing a 3rd party plugin.

Also, most websites I have visited don’t have the popup window on every page you visit, I understand that customers can check the ‘do not show this popup again’box to make it disappear but is there any way to make it only appear once when the customer lands on our website?
