Hi there!
I’m having an issue with Theme Options and the promo popup. Our site uses an SSL Certificate and all works well however, whenever I try to change something in Theme Options or when I use the promo popup, there is always an error saying that the site is not secure.
You will see, once you go to the site, the green padlock is there and once the popup shows, it says there is an error. This has only started happening (with promo) since we began using the popup. The issue has always existed when making changes in Theme Options though but disappears when you finish using Theme Options.
Is there a reason for this?
Look forward to hearing from you.
Hello,
Thank you for your report. We’ll fix it in theme update.
Regards,
Rose Tyler.
Hi Rose,
It has been over a month since this was looked at – can you please advise when the update will be?
Thank you
Hello,
Please wait 1-2 days.

Hi Rose,
Still no sign of a theme update…
We have been notified of another issue whereby the Phone and Email fields in the checkout cannot be accessed by clicking meaning that people have been deterred away from the site therefore, we are now losing business… In fact, a whole heap of forms seem to be non compatible.
Please advise when this update will be happening as there seems to be a large issue with Woocommerce and their latest updates as well as this issue with the popup etc.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Steve
Hello,
Sorry for the delay.
We’ll update the theme as soon as possible.
I’ve checked your site and deleted a strange image from Popup background http://prntscr.com/ewby1t. It seems, the issue with SSL was fixed.
Please check.
Also, you need update Visual Composer plugin https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/page/2/

Hi Rose,
Thanks for your response.
The popup was no longer enabled however, when I change settings in “Theme Options”, I immediately get the notification saying the site is no longer secure. Please also advise how to remove that standard image of the woman in the background.
When will this update be?! This whole theme is becoming quite frustrating to use now. Clients are saying the same thing as well..
Regards
Steve
Hello,
Please add this code in Theme Options > Custom css to remove default background:
.white-popup-block{
background:none;
}
Also, provide a screenshot of your issue.
We’ll release new update during this week.
Regards,
Rose Tyler.
