We purchased and installed demo and get this message when we start to customize the front page slider:
“This widget was deprecated since v4.1.3. Please, use Slides widget instead.”
What are the detailed instructions to delete what has been depreciated and add the other widget?
Thanks.
Hello, Canv,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We noticed that your website is currently in maintenance mode, which prevents us from viewing the exact demo version that has been imported.
In fact, removing the element is not mandatory, and you can continue using it if you prefer not to spend time replacing it. However, if you do wish to remove one element and add or configure another, this can certainly be done. The procedure may vary depending on whether you are using the Elementor or Bakery plugin.
If you need further assistance, please feel free to let us know.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am using Elementor and would like to use the most updated slider component that has already been tested for that location on the front page.
Will any sliders work well there? Are there specific one that work well with this Xstore theme?
Thanks.
Dear @Canv,
We hope this message finds you well.
We are currently unable to verify which demo you have imported on your website. However, it appears that you may have imported one of our older demos, which utilizes an outdated widget for sliders. In our more recent demos, we have implemented new widgets that have been built from scratch, incorporating enhanced UI/UX techniques.
You can find more information about these updated widgets in our documentation here: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/slider-set-up/xstore-slider-with-elementor-plugin/.
In your case, you have two options: you can either continue using the slider that was included with the demo you imported, or you can create a new one by following the instructions provided in our documentation.
Should you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson
