Questions regarding the future of the ‘old’ header builder.

Hello,

We noticed the recent warning about the header builder in the theme options, and the fact that as of January 2025 it will no longer be supported. We have several sites previously created with your theme and this header builder, and we would like to know:

– if the headers of these sites will eventually need to be switched to Elementor’s header builder because they will no longer function
– if this means that from 2025 we will no longer be able to modify these previously built headers with the ‘old’ header builder
– if there is a planned gateway to easily transition from a header previously created with the old header builder to the Elementor header builder

Hello, Enjin,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns regarding the header builder in our theme options.

We would like to inform you that it will be necessary for the transition to occur, which will subsequently enhance the speed of operation. Additionally, we are currently in the process of creating numerous presets for the header builder, which will soon enable rapid importation.

At this juncture, we recommend experimenting over the next two months and to await the arrival of the new presets.

Hello,

Thank you for your response. So if I understand correctly, this does indeed mean that at some point sites with the old header builder will no longer function properly without action on our part to transfer them to the new header builder. If so, can you tell me if this will be the case as of January 1st, 2025, as mentioned in your message, or later ?

This means that users will no longer be able to find options for the existing header builder. However, please be assured that websites utilizing the current headers will continue to operate for a transitional period. This measure is to ensure that all our valued customers can smoothly and effortlessly migrate to the new headers without any inconvenience.
