Hello 8theme team,
Hope you are doing well today 🙂
1) On this element (MODAL POPUP);
https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/modal-popup/
a) Can we connect the popup widgets to words and images or does it have to be only buttons?
For example, if we have a word (or button) which says “PHONE” can we open a window/widget which shows just information (in the form of text/images)?
b) We have lots information to be added, can we get the CSS code to add a scrolling element on here?
Please see PCA.
c) Can we use custom made buttons versus the standard button which automatically comes up?
https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/text-button-element/
Are much better versus the standard buttons.
d) Is there anyway to show the modal popup by just hovering over the button versus clicking it?
Thanks for your help!

Hi Rose,
Thanks for your reply.
1.
a) Very cool, so you can get images/words to open the modal popups. Can you let us know on how you achieved this? Perhaps the steps/or a screenshot?
b) Thank you for clarifying that, we did not know that!
– Is there anyway we can edit the scroll in terms of size and color?
c) Thank you – I think we cannot add the custom buttons as on this page then;
https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/text-button-element/
I think we can add a custom button and then add the modal popup in reference to a)
d) Oh okay, understood.
Thanks for your help!

Additionally, we have prepared an instructional video for your convenience, which can be found in the Private Content section.
1b. Regarding your inquiry, we regret to inform you that the option you mentioned is not available by default.
1c. Unfortunately, this is not possible.

Hi Rose,
Thanks for your replies.
1) Appreciate the video and sample.
Is there anyway to set and image of anything (for example a car) and once you click that have the modal popup show up?
We are trying to make modal pop-ups show up when an image is clicked.
2) Is there any CSS code in which we can edit the scroll bar? The default one is very small and hard to see.
3) Thanks for confirming – so we cannot add modal popup features to/onto the text button elements?
Thanks and appreciate the help once again.
Hello, GTP,
1/ You’re welcome!
We are pleased to inform you that you have the ability to upload any SVG image of your choice -https://prnt.sc/zhYHoeXz4dnp
2/ Below is a sample of custom CSS code that you may find useful: https://prnt.sc/mbV3zFyw6wQJ
/* scroll width */
selector .etheme-modal-popup-inner::-webkit-scrollbar {
width: 20px;
}
/* scroll track */
selector .etheme-modal-popup-inner::-webkit-scrollbar-track {
box-shadow: inset 0 0 5px grey;
border-radius: 10px;
}
/* scroll handle */
selector .etheme-modal-popup-inner::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb {
background: red;
border-radius: 10px;
}
3/ Yes.

Hi Rose,
1) Thanks!
Sorry might have asked this before, but the video has expired.
Can you let us know the steps of just having text used for the modal popup?
2) Thanks for the code!
– Is there anyway to change the rounded edges of the scroll bar to flat? As seen on the 8theme.com website, on the right side
– Can we add some padding/space between the elements of the image appearing on the popup and the actual scroll bar element? Currently it is showing “glued” together.
– Can we change the background color of the element – which is currently grey to something else?
Sorry, could not find that on the code.
3) Can this be done via code?
The text buttons on the elements page; https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/text-button-element/
Look more appealing versus the standard one that shows up for the modal popup element.

Hi Rose,
1) I think you may have provided another video? This seems to be something else (another customers maybe)
2) Please see PCA
3) Will do that!
Thank you
Hello, GTP,
1/ Please find the updated video at the following link: https://we.tl/t-I4LQY0QXQF
2/ The color ‘blue’ can be altered to ‘red’ or any other preferred color as demonstrated here: https://prnt.sc/wE8e_UZtU67W
Similarly, adjustments to the border-radius can be made as shown in these screenshots: https://prnt.sc/LtS_W6tJ0Wqv > https://prnt.sc/VQ-J3yI6AwUB
We have previously provided an example of the code, which appears to have been overlooked.
