    Hi there,

We just updated the Legenda theme to version 3.1 and now have an issue with the QuickView display on the Home page.

The display of the product image is now different. Previously a square image was displayed, as per the thumbnail on the Home page. Now an elongated (portrait) image is displayed that is also cropped.

    Please can you advise?

    Best wishes, Andrea

    Hello,

You can delete Product Images Width and Height in Theme Option, then go to Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display and change Single Product Image settings. Use hard crop if you want to crop images.
    Read more there https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/fixing-blurry-product-images/
    Then regenerate thumbnails https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

    Hi Rose,

I think you misunderstood my question. The product images are fine on the product pages. My question relates to the QuickView image..

The QuickView image on our Home page is now portrait – this happened after we updated Legenda theme.

I can’t find a setting in the Theme Options to change the QuickView image?

The display of the product image hasn’t changed and is OK. So, there is no need to edit the WooCommerce settings as these do not affect the QuickView image?

Please can you advise how we change the QuickView image from portrait to square (as it previously was).

    Many thanks, Andrea

    Hello,

QuickView image size related to woocommerce single product image size, so please try previous suggestions. Also, please provide FTP access in Private Content area.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

    Hi Rose,

If the QuickView image size is supposed to relate to the WooCommerce single product image size, then it does not.. Our WooCommerce settings have not changed. Here, the single product image ratio is square (600×600 px). The QuickView image ratio is portrait.

The QuickView image was square (as per the WooCommerce single product image) until we updated Legenda theme.

I have provided FTP details in private content.

    Many thanks, Andrea

    Hello,

You provided WP Dashboard credentials, but we need FTP access. If you don’t know FTP login data, then ask your hosting provider support and send them to us.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

    Hi Rose,

Thankyou – the QuickView image is now (back to) square – many thanks!

We do now have an issue that when you close the QuickView box, the box moves (very quickly) to the left hand side of the browser window before closing/disappearing.

I wondered if that was a result of the change(s) that you made, or something else?

Sorry Rose – we are just trying to get all the issues fixed as we’d really like to make the site live.

    Many thanks, Andrea
