Hi!
Could you please tell me what is the recommended resolution for the Product Category Header Image (Custom page heading image for this category)?
Thanks!
Hi,
I also want to know how to disable the default image in Custom page heading image. If I didn’t defined, it is taking image from somewhere else!
Thanks!
Hello,
For example here https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/bike/shop/ http://prntscr.com/ijvc1j Also, I would recommend you to use https://tinypng.com/ to optimize images.
If you want to change breadcrumbs image go to Theme Options > General > Breadcrumbs > http://prntscr.com/cjprj5 You may use different breadcrumbs images for simple pages, just upload Featured image for your page. It does not work for Shop and Blog pages because these pages are special pages. They use breadcrumbs image from Global settings.
Feel free to ask if you have any other questions.
Regards

Hi,
It looks working. May I know the reason why this happened? Did I miss something in settings? Or A bug?
Thanks!
Hello,
You uploaded featured image for shop page and this created such situation. As I said before, Shop and Blog pages are special pages, and they should use breadcrumbs images from Theme Options settings. In case, breadcrumbs image was uploaded for shop, the same image will be shown on all pages that inherit layout of this page. This means that featured image of shop page has the highest priority as an image in Theme Options or featured image for a category. Once I remove the featured image from shop page settings the problem was solved.
Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.
Regards
Thanks for the explanation.
This breadcrumb image makes me really confused now.
I decided to keep a solid color as the BG of the breadcrumb. If needed, I’ll add a separate image to the required category.
I created a page now. Now the breadcrumb is taking my featured image! I don’t want to take my featured image as the breadcrumb. For me, featured images are for product thumbnails/OG Image. If I didn’t define a breadcrumb image, then it should take the default breadcrumb settings!
So, my questions are:
1. Is there a way to keep the breadcrumb settings, even I defined the featured image?
2. Is there a way to use a breadcrumb image other than featured image?
It would be great to introduce an option like this:
“Breadcrumb options: Default, Upload Custom Image”
Awaiting for a solution!
Thanks!
Hello,
If you don’t want to show featured image for some page just use page Custom CSS and add the code http://prntscr.com/im84ex

Hi,
You didn’t answered my question.
The solution which you have given is to just hide the image.
My requirement is, I want to display a custom header image. I don’t want to use my featured image as my page header image!
I really don’t know why you are taking the featured image as header image….!!!!!!!
Featured images are used as the primary product image as well as OG Tag image by default…!
Thanks.
Hello,
Product featured image and page featured image are little bit different things in our case. The product does not have the option to set the featured image, it uses the breadcrumbs image from Theme Options or Shop page image. Simple page breadcrumbs image use simple page featured image. The page does not show featured image by default that’s why we took it to show in breadcrumbs. If you want the separate option for the simple pages to upload breadcrumbs image it requires additional customization. I’ll pass this request to our developers but I can’t tell you the update when we will implement this.
