Redux Destroying Site/Admin And Slow - by troyboy

    Hi there, I have a client who has been having huge issues with speed with this theme. After hours of research after they called to say the site is not loading at all (Woo), I worked out its redux that is killing the site speed, woocommerce and part of admin.

    Hello,

    We have tested your site with the Redux http://prntscr.com/uzz5uw and it’s without http://prntscr.com/uzz73a And difference is not very big. So, Redux is not the reason of your issue. Try to optimize images and solve the other moments related to content and server http://prntscr.com/uzz5uw

    But we found a lot of fatal errors http://prntscr.com/uzywso probably because this directive is disabled http://prntscr.com/uzyygz Try to enable it to fix the fatal errors caused by the Mailchimp plugin.

    Hi there, i appreciate you having a look. However, did you actually test anything? Once Redux is activated the site is destroyed. The “static” home page loads which is fine to test things with…. that not the issue. Woocommerce is destroyed. Try shopping once Redux is activated…. it does not work after that.

    I have noticed several people having this issue.

    I have also Enabled “allow_url_fopen”

    Could someone please explain to me what is going on here as my client is threatening me for loss of sales now. I have paid support and this is urgent/critical.

    Hello,

    Take our apologies for the delay in answering!

    1) Please, install the necessary extensions https://prnt.sc/v3p4ja We need to generate thumbnails for the products because at this moment it takes the original full-size images and it caused the speed issue. Once you install these extensions go to Tools > Regenerate Thumbnails > regenerate all the thumbnails.

    2) Don’t use such many products per page http://prntscr.com/v3ooaf Set 20 for example, then you get page loaded much faster.

    3) Also, we could offer you our XStore theme https://themeforest.net/item/xstore-responsive-woocommerce-theme/15780546 instead of Legenda theme. XStore is more optimized and customizable.

    If Redux is deactivated, the site is very fast, if it’s installed and deactivated, the site dies!!!

    So you can not fix this?

    It was fine until the updates were done, totally fine!
