Hi,
Upon completing the registration, an email is generated with the subject ‘Registration Successful’.
In the contents of the email is a link to my account whichis missing ‘h’ from ‘http’ and thus causes a 404 error (please see attached). The same is true of the logo link, which also has the same problem.
Please could you advise how I can resolve this?
I’m also wondering where the settings are to control who the email is sent from, and the logo image file path. Note: the settings have been applied in Woo-commerce but don’t seem to take effect.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Hello,
Please provide us with WP Dashboard and FTP credentials in private content.

Hi Jack,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Details in private content.
Hello,
We checked registration email and there is a conclusion that problem persists only in specific mail client. If we use default gmail interface there is no such issue.
We recommend you to use other mail client. Please try it.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Hi Jack,
Many thanks for looking into the problem.
I’ve tested again and got the same results on my iPhone mail client. In gmail it displays the plain text link (which is correct on all accounts), but there is still an issue with the link which is missing the full ‘http’). In gmail for example, I wasn’t even able to click the link (only had options to change or remove)
I don’t believe it is a email client problem (although Outlook can be problematic). Is there a mail template I can check in the theme files somewhere? I believe there is a wider problem here.
Hello,
The email template can be found in the file wp-content/themes/woopress/framework/theme-functions.php (lines 1532-1549).
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Thanks Jack, I couldn’t find anything out of the ordinary. On my last set of tests I was able to experience the same results as you. In other words, the email client (Microsoft Outlook) had the problem, but my iPhone didn’t not. Happy to mark this topic as resolved, seems the fault is with Microsoft Outlook and not the website.
Thank you
Hello,
Glad to hear the problem has been resolved.
Have a nice day.
