I am encountering an issue as it relates to the “Related products” on a single page layout. It is not showing products from the same category. I understand, this is the manner in which WooCommerce shows related products, but for some reason, this is not correct on several products.

I have shared more details in the “private content area”

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

Rose – respectfully, I cannot accept the directions you provided for me to reach out and contact WooCommerce Support. I have to believe this is a theme issue that is not working correctly. Has this not been addressed by other customers?

    What is the fix?

    Thanks,
    Brad

    Hello @HUSSTLE,

We would like to clarify that our theme includes a modified version of the related.php file from WooCommerce, which allows products to be displayed in either a grid or slider view. However, the products shown in this section are determined by the default WooCommerce function wc_get_related_products()

If the related products are not displaying correctly, the issue is likely related to this WooCommerce function rather than our theme, as it is a core WooCommerce feature. This is why @Rose Tyler recommended that you reach out to WooCommerce support for further assistance.

To verify whether the issue is related to our theme, we suggest temporarily switching to a default WooCommerce theme such as Storefront. If the products display correctly with Storefront but not with our theme, please provide us with the URL of the affected products, along with correct WP-Admin and FTP access credentials in the private area, so we can investigate further.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson
