    I’d like to remove the wishlist feature (I’ve already stopped the quickview) but turning off the plugin turns other functions off too.

    How can I stop the add to wishlist button and associated links displaying anywhere on the site?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hello,

    You can disable YITH Wishlist option in Dashboard->YIT Plugins->Wishlist->General Settings.

    Regards,

    Hello Robert,

    I’m afraid I can’t see an option to disable the wishlist functionality other than the first option which then causes the footer section to disappear along with the ‘New Arrivals’ section. Below I list what is present on the page you directed me to.

    Enable YITH Wishlist Enable YITH Wishlist Enable all plugin features. Be sure to select at least one option in the Wishlist page menu in in this settings page. Also, please read the plugin documentation.

    Default wishlist title
    Wishlist Page
    Wishlist
    Position
    Redirect to cart
    Remove if added to the cart
    “Add to Wishlist” text
    “Browse wishlist” text
    “Product already in wishlist” text
    “Product added” text
    “Add to Cart” text
    Show Unit price
    Show “Add to Cart” button
    Show Stock status
    Show Date of addition
    Add second remove button

    Hello,

    I’ve deactivated Wishlist plugin and haven’t seen any issues with other elements. Please specify what doesn’t work when the plugin is disabled.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi,

    You’ve deactivated the plugin and what was stopping working before isn’t now so thanks that’s great. HOWEVER, I was originally directed to the settings for the plugin to deactivate the wishlist function, not deactivate the whole plugin.

    There still remains an issue as the black bar still appears when you move your mouse over the products, this I’ll have to remove too obviously…could you possible suggest a way of doing that?

    Many thanks

    Dan

    Hello,

    Please add this code in custom.css file:

    .footer-product {
        display: none !important;
    }

    How to create custom.css you can watch in this tutorial (it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
