I was just customizing the layout of the blog with my first post and I have encountered some problems. 1: There is a BLOG image in the BREADCRUMBS which I want to remove.

2: I have entered the EXCERPTS length to ’30’ but nothing appears on the main screen. can you please help me.
I have the screenshot of the problem here: https://prnt.sc/i2m139

I even tried to see the documentation yesterday and also visited the forum but I couldn’t find any help there.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the topic.
    1. Please read our documentation and create blog page https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/blog-page/.
If you want to change breadcrumbs image go to Theme Options > General > Breadcrumbs > http://prntscr.com/cjprj5 You may use different breadcrumbs images for simple pages, just upload Featured image for your page. It does not work for Shop and Blog pages because these pages are special pages. They use breadcrumbs image from Global settings.
    2. Likely the problem will be solved by creating the Blog page and changes in Settings > Reading.

    Regards

Thanks Rose for the reply. I have followed all the steps you have told me but still, the blog image is set in the breadcrumbs. I dont want any image on the breadcrumbs but a single color #f6f6f6

Even after removing the default image in the breadcrumbs the blog post image is to be seen in the breadcrumbs area. Now there is no setting in the documentation of how to get rid of the image and set the breadcrumbs to a single color #f6f6f6

please have a look at the screenshot:

Can you please take a look at my site.

I’ve created Home and Blog pages http://prntscr.com/i2piy7 > http://prntscr.com/i2pj2t. Please check the blog page breadcrumbs now.
If you want to use the blog page as Home, let me know and I will provide custom css code to hide the image from breadcrumbs.

    Regards
