Hi – I previously posted on this topic and then it was closed. I still have questions so am posting again. Here was the original conversation:
Original Post: Is there anyway to delete the PreFooter Row and Footer 1 Areas? I’m using a static home page and would like the bottom of the last row in the page to abut to the top of the footer area. Currently it shows about a 25px space with the page background color (white in my case). You can see the page here:

I refer to the white space in between the blue footer and the green page section above. Please advise.
Thanks!
Kristen

Hello,
If you want to delete demo content from footer go to Theme Options > General > Show footer demo blocks > Off. How to create footer you can watch here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HL7wtSaTcMU
If you disable demo content and leave Footer 1 widget area empty then Footer 1 won’t be displayed.
To hide white space just edit your section and add margin bottom -40px.
New Question: I didn’t have footer demo content on – but I really need to get rid of that white space you refer to. I’m not sure how to implement your suggestion because that white space currently showing does not have a page section associated to it, it seems instead to be attached to the footer 1 section somehow. I don’t know what it is attached to really which is why I can’t dictate a margin bottom. Please advise – thanks!
Ok, just solved this, yay! The white space was coming from the section above footer 1. I think where I went wrong was when adding bottom margin space I was entering it as -40px, and it appeared to do nothing. It works if you get rid of the px. Easy fix! Thank you.
