Remove item from cart popup takes too long

    Hello,
    when I delete a product within the cart popup it takes about 5 seconds (!!) until it disappears. Thats MUCH too long. I guess it has something to do with admin-ajax.php which takes very long to load…Is there a way to speed this up?

    Hello,

    You can use some additional plugins for compression, caching (W3 Total Cache etc), image optimization (WP Smush etc.) and Javascript / CSS Minifiers. These can optimize and speed up your website.

    I dont want to speed up my website, I would like to speed up the time it takes until a product is removed from the cart popup.

    The speed of removal of the product from the card popup depends on the site speed.

    GtMetrix gives me a PageSpeed Score of “A 95%” – so I can’t imagine that this is the reason.

    Hello,

    Also, please, update the theme to the latest version 2.9.
    Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
    Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

    Thanks, but my dev page is version 2.9, that made no difference to previous versions.
