    Hello!

    I have the WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin installed, and on any page, either a product page, either a product categories page, or either even a wordpress page, the theme I think hardcodes somehow the “sitename” to be present in the SEO title. You have in the hidden area the credentials and also an example page (although, again, it happens on any page).

    So can you help me remove that element from the SEO title (visible in Google Chrome in tha tab’s name)? Thank you in advance πŸ™‚

    PS: Hopefully the solution is aplicable also to the Legenda theme, since I also have the same problem there (on another customer site).

    Hello,

    If you remove Site title in Settings > General it’ll be removed from the browser tab as well.
    Please check it.

    Thank you.

    Nope, it doesn’t, actually it makes things worse, since the “sitename” is also deleted from the entries of SEO by Yoast.

    So please give me another solution – I just hope you’ll point me into making a .php code change in the theme files to remove that “sitename” entry from the SEO settings of the theme.

    Again, this is a common problem, it happens with Legenda theme also, and I think youΘ›d want for both themes to be fully compatible with the best / most used SEO plugin out there.

    Thanks again πŸ™‚

    I’ve managed to solve it by myself, by deleting two lines in header.php (lines 18 and 19):

    // Add the blog name.
    bloginfo( ‘name’ );

    Do you have any php specialists on the support team? Can I get an answer if my solution is ok?

    I mean it solves my problem, but I don’t want it to have some other consequences.

    Thank you πŸ™‚

    Hello,

    There shouldn’t be any issues as you removed only the duplicate title.
    If there are any questions please let us know.
