Replace cart/search with own responsive content

Hi, i love the theme but really want to replace the cart/searh with my own responsive content. I have tried here:
http://matthewbingham.co.uk/sanctuary/ but the content is not responsive.

Is there a way of doing this?

Hello,

Please try to add this code in custom.css file:
```
@media (max-width: 480px) {.header-type-10 .navbar-header {
    text-align: right !important;
    right: 12px;
}}
```

I’ve added that by any text or image I place in there does not resize at all and just overlaps everything.
