Hello. We are using the plugin ‘Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce’ to add custom fields to our billing screen that help with the processing of our order. They are required fields and show up as such, but when submitting that step of the checkout process (Billing) the required fields do not trigger any error if left blank.

You must click through this Billing Screen to the Shipping and finally Order screens and try to check out before these error messages show up.

Is there any way to have them trigger on the appropriate panel, so that the user sees them before being able to proceed?

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

Go to Theme Options > Shop > Checkout page > choose the default type instead of the Step by Step checkout if you want to use a third-party plugin for this.

    Regards
