Hi, How do I turn off, or delete the section for reviews?

The whole tabs thingy under the product:
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/idstore/?product=cool-demo-top

    DESCRIPTION
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
    REVIEWS
    CUSTOM HTML

the whole shabang. Would like it gone. as in (display none)

Descriptions are going in the short description, that’s all I need.

CSS? is there a Control panel setting?

    Please advise.
    Thanks!
    Chris

    Hello,

You can remove tabs using this code in custom.css file:
    .tabs {display: none;}

Here is the tutorial how to create custom.css. It’s related to Legenda theme but the process is the same.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

You can do this with the code:
    #tab_2 {display: none;}
“2” in “tab_2” is the tab number you want to remove.

    Hi Eva

That didn’t seem to work? ANy suggestions. I added exactly that code into custom.css

If I leave product description empty the additional information tab doesnt show, but if i have attributes in my product, they are listed in the additional information tab and I dont want that.

    Hi Eva

I didnt get a reply from you. The suggestion you gave to get rid of the additional information tab didnt work.

If i leave the product discription empty (and just write in the short description area) the additonal information tab is not there. However, When I have a variable products – the additional information tab shows with the variables in it. I would like to have the additional info tab gone completely.

I still want the custom tab to show.

    Thank you

    Hello,

To remove tabs you can follow the instructions on the Woocommerce documentation:
    http://docs.woothemes.com/document/editing-product-data-tabs/ > Removing Tabs
Write only the tab you want to remove.

I’m unable to connect to FTP using the details you’ve provided.
    Please check.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi Eva
Are you sure – I just signed into FTP using exactly those credentials I put in the private content.

The new page loading from the bottom is an issue – is this normal? When you click for page two, when the page loads you are looking at the footer area. Not good.

Please have a look a this for me.

Thank you for the link about removing the additional tab in woocommerce, I will try this now.

Ok – I just added the code from the link you sent me (to remove addidtional info tab) and it unfortunately removed the custom tab too. I can’t find any documentation on the code to add to make sure custom tab stays as an option to have. Could you please assist?

Sorry i know im a pain!

    Hi Jack

Yes thank you that works – appreciate.

I have a big problem that i’ve asked twice with no response.

When I press ‘2’ or ‘>’ (to go to the next page of products) the new page loads at showing the bottom of the screen. It loads up and you are looking at the footer and have to scroll up to see the products. This is probably the most important issue for me to have fixed as it is annoying for customers and they would probably leave the site.

Can you please look at this as soon as possible?

I really appreciate all of your help.

Also – as a few changes have been made. How do you suggest I update the theme without losing them all?

    Thank you

    Hello,

We’re sorry but this is a bug in the theme and will be fixed only in the next update.
Unfortunately you have to wait for a new release. It should be produced in a month.

If style changes were made in custom.css file, then you don’t need to worry, it’ll remain after update. If some changes were made in the theme files, then you have to create child theme and copy all modified files into there. Here you can read how to create child theme.
Also we recommend to create a backup of the files and database before updating the theme.

Please take our apologies for inconveniences.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello Eva

Yes I have a child theme and understand that the custom.css file is fine, however you have made some changes on my site for me (thank you) so I ask about the update because of that. I think you have edited the header file and stylesheet, do you recall there are any other files you have changed (if you have only changed what you mentioned in your replies, I will go ahead and copy only those files.

About the page loading. That really is a massive issue and I cannot go live with that bug. People trying to get to a new page will move off my site if it keeps loading at the bottom. I really wish I noticed that bug first because it is a big issue and needs to be fixed asap. There must be some code you can give me in the meantime before the next update – I can’t wait a month for it to be fixed. Surely the other customers feel the same. Is it the big in the footer redirecting the page to the footer perhaps. I don’t accept there can’t be some code to add to fix this until the next release (i would understand the next release was a few days or a week away but a month is far too long to wait for a major issue like this).

I look forward to your response.

    Thank you

    Julia

    Hello,

Don’t worry, all changes that we have made will remain after theme upgrading. In the case if you have added some code into the functions.php please copy it to the functions.php file of child theme.

We’ve made some changes in etheme.js file. Please check it now!

    Thanks Jack,

I know Eva made some changes to my files for me. And you did too (removed tabs etc). Just don’t want to lose any of the great work you’ve done.

You guys are absolute legends with the code – thank you so much!

Will be buying more themes from you.
