having issues with the revolution slider not rotating
Hello,
Please update the theme to the latest 2.4.1 version and check the slider again.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Updated to 2.4.1 but still not working. Now it’s created another issue on the subscriptions page.
Fixed the subscription page issue, it was the header image got deleted with the update. But now when I add items to cart from the category page or the featured products on the homepage it takes forever to load and gets stuck.
It actually looks like it’s coming from the theme: PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function set_messages() on a non-object in /nas/wp/www/cluster-1354/melateas/wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/woo.php on line 1035, referer: http://www.melateas.com/product-category/teas
Hello,
I’ve disabled Ajax Filter in Theme Options > Shop and now category items are added successfully to the cart.
Concerning the slider, its progress bar is moving too slowly.
Have you made any changes to the original theme files?
Please provide us with FTP credentials.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Actually I deleted line 1035 in the woo.php file which made the add to cart work.
if ( get_option( ‘woocommerce_cart_redirect_after_add’ ) == ‘yes’ ) {
woocommerce_add_to_cart_message( $product_id );
1035 DELETED THIS $woocommerce->set_messages();
}
Did not make any changes to the original theme files.

Hello,
Seems the problem is caused by WP Engine. You should contact them and ask if there are any restrictions on a server as slider is loading too slowly.
Also you can refer to this article:

Thank you.

Could it be because I updated the revolution slider manually instead of through the theme?
Is there a way to revert back to the theme version?
Hello,
I’ve tried to revert back Revolution Slider to 4.5.95 version but the result is the same.
So I’ve updated it to 4.6 version. Also I’ve checked the slider with default WordPress theme and the issue persists there too.
As I’ve already told you the problem may be caused by your host.
Please contact them.
Thank you.

Eva Kemp.
