    Hi,

I am not happy with looks of my slider. I just edited the default one from the demo.

What are the best practices for the slider? Let’s say I want to use one of the templates, how to replace default one on the main page with new one.
Or maybe it would be just easier to edit this one (I would like to increase the hight of it – most of my lifestyle pictures don’t fit.)
Another is resolution/compresion of images. Slider seems to be the heaviest element on the home page in terms of speed. Of course all tools which measure the speed recommend to compress pictures – again what are the best practices. Right now my pictures are little bit blurry.

I will appreciate sharing some insights.

    Thanks

    Hello,

In case you want to be able to edit responsive settings of the slider then we would recommend you to use the Revolution slider and follow the documentation https://www.sliderrevolution.com/faq/responsive-content/
We have imported an example of the revolution slider for you, so you can replace existing content by your own according to your needs.
To add it on the home page just edit the page and add the Revolution slider element.
If you use slider image as the background image then you need large-resolution images that will fit the slider width, in other case image will be scaled to cover the width of the slider.

    Regards
