Royal Theme Update - by cetownsend - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    Hey there,

    I’m having a difficult time updating the Royal theme from 1.5.2 to 1.6.1. I’ve downloaded an FTP tool but am unsure as to which files I am suppose to copy to the newest version of the Royal theme.

    I went ahead an updated things like the CSS folder and images but other than that Im a bit lost. Even after installing the newest version it still reads 1.5.2.

    Hello,

    You need overwrite the “royal” folder in wp-content/themes directory with a new “royal” that is located in the theme package.
    Did you make changes in original theme files or just in custom.css?

    I think its the update took affect and is working now. Thank you for such a speedy response.

    What’s the story with Woocommerce compatibility? Is there an update coming soon. My store is my livelihood. I will not be able to launch without it?

    There is already an update of the theme:
    http://themeforest.net/item/royal-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/8611976

    You can download it and update Woocommerce plugin as well.

    Don’t forget to create back up of the files and database.

    I have the latest Woocommerce plugin installed 2.3.3.

    And it looks like I’m running Royal Theme 1.7.
