When using Safari 8.. the Quickview option returns:
“No posts were found!”
It does not happen on your example sites.. but I tried deactivating all my plugins, except the WooCommerce and WPML and it still did it. This issue does not happen with Firefox or Chrome.
Any idea what could cause this ?
Hello,
Please provide us with wp-admin access in Private Content.

Is there any way you could just give me pointers right out of your head as to what is required for this message “No posts were found!” to be triggered at the QuickView plugin level? You must have a slight inkling already no?

Site is hosted at WP-Engine, could some caching approach be an issue ?

If i give you access I trust you to be extremely careful.. is there anyway we could Skype this at a precise time so I can follow what you are doing.. as I imagine you will turn plugins on and off and that freaks out a bit.. truly ! I’ve had developers with admin access leave a mess on other sites.. and since I’m a bit frisky..
Or you could take a look, touch nothing whatsoever and see if you already get an idea as to what it might be ?! And then we would take it from there ?

It just happened again using Chrome so it’s not Safari-related as I thought.. though Safari does it 100% of the time, not the other browsers.
THANKS
OUCH.. it’s WPML :0(((
I figured if someone’s gonna turn plugins on and off like a maniac on my site, might as well be me.
It’s causing no issue in Firefox whatsoever..
Seems to always mess up in Safari 8.. and in Chrome it’s a mixed bag.. at times the QuickView window shows up fine at others QuickView returns the error. Odd..
TADAA !! SORT OF SOLVED !!
Ok, I turned WPML back on, I deactivated your QuickView from the Theme Options.
I installed the stock QuickView:
http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-quickview/4378284
and IT WORKS in all browsers, so there might be something in your implementation of QuickView that somehow needs fixing to play well with WPML..

BTW: What I also like with the stock QuickView is that you can actually jump from one product to the next directly in its interface..

Yes, thanks but.. beyond “my” problem..
..wouldn’t you say that there is still something to check on your side.. like trying to at least reproduce what I’m talking about in one of your test sites using WPML ? Because if the stock QuickView works and not your bundled version.. er.. isn’t there possibly an issue with your implementation of QuickView ?
I only use your them on one site, so I cannot say if it is reproducible and I don’t really have time to do this for you ;0) But you should no ?!??
WPML is pretty major in the WordPress community.. it would make sense your theme plays well along with it.. even when it comes to glitches that are not exactly “language-related”.
Or put more simply…”my” problem may really be your problem ;0) Like a bug..
Hello,
