Hey there!
I have a question regarding the search tool of the Lifsstyle Theme.
When I tried using the search function I noticed, that there were no results of the portfolio section and no results of regular pages displayed.
Please try the following keyword: “langer”
This name ist mentioned at the pages
“Home” – http://igp.melanie-tschiedel.at/
“Vorstand” – http://igp.melanie-tschiedel.at/vorstand/
and at the portfolio sections
http://igp.melanie-tschiedel.at/mitglieder-fachrichtung/
http://igp.melanie-tschiedel.at/mitglieder-alphabetisch/
How to include this term and others into the search algorithm?
Best Regards
Melanie
Hello,
In this case you have to edit the file wp-content/themes/lifestyle/framework/templates/searchform.php and comment the line 10 <input type="hidden" name="post_type" value="post" />
.

Eva Kemp.
Hey Eva!

Can you tell me how to style the search-result page?
Melanie

Only one question left:
can’t find the tranlsation string for this – Search… – field.
Thank you!

Hey there!
Is it possible to change the links of the search-results?
I’m not useing project pages at portfolio function. It should be used only as a overview on two pages.
http://igp.melanie-tschiedel.at/mitglieder-fachrichtung/
On this page I’m only using excerpts of each project and the portfolio filters.
http://igp.melanie-tschiedel.at/mitglieder-alphabetisch/
On this page I’m useing only metadata from each project.
Is ist possible to link the searchreults of projects to this page?
http://igp.melanie-tschiedel.at/mitglieder-fachrichtung/
Thank you!
Melanie
Hello,
Please take our apologies but there is no such possibility.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Ok. Is it possible to remove the links in general?
Hello,
Could you please show on a screenshot what links you want to remove on search results template?
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
This is the searchresult of the keyword “Langer”
the word is mentioned four times –
“Vorstand” = Page
“Impressum” = Page
“Home” = Page
—
“Langer Dr. Manuel” = Portfolio project.
Is it possible, in general, to remove links to single projects no mather what keyword is used?
Hello,
This requires additional customization which is beyond our basic support scope.
You can order additional support via this form https://www.8theme.com/customization-services/ .
