Search Bar is not functioning well when searching by SKU

    Hi,

    The search bar works well normally but we found that if we input an SKU that contains letters + numbers, then click on the “Enter” button or the search icon, there will be no result.

    Here are the SKUs that work and don’t work

    SKUs with letters + number > Can’t be searched
    NW0029
    BB0005

    SKUs that are all letters > no problem
    CLEAN
    PIL-CLOUD

    SKUs that are all numbers > no problem
    423244

    Hello,

    We can’t check your site. Is there a restriction by IP or something else? Please check.
    Make sure that titles of products do not contain the same words as SKUs.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the reply.
    1/ Try to disable all the third-party plugins (including cache plugins), that do not come bundled with XStore https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/ , clear cache of browser, and check then. Maybe one of the additional plugins is a reason for the problem. Let us know the result.
    2/ Provide FTP access, we will check the situation more deeply.

    Hello. We tried and we found that it seems that your theme has a conflict with WPML (Although XStore is mentioned as a compatible theme by WPML: https://wpml.org/theme/xstore/)

    Can you fix this issue?

    You installed WPML but did not install the WooCommerce WPML plugin that is required if you plan a multilanguage store.
    Once I installed WooCommerce WPML plugin search for products works ok.

    So all we need is to install WooCommerce WPML plugin?
    The only worry is we afraid that installing WooCommerce WPML will override our current translation. Will this happen?

    Hello,

    I have already installed that. It won’t overwrite anything. This plugin is required if you plan to translate products. Read more in WPML documentation about that https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/

    The SKU problem is solved.

    Here is another problem:

    We select Equal Height for the row but the content is still not in equal height.
    There is also a big gap between the images

    The images are fine on desktop, but the left image is not contained on the mobile version.

    How can we avoid cutting the image on the mobile version?
