The popup search bar that should appear when you mouse over the search icon is not appearing in Safari browser, making the search function impossible to use in Safari! Please help!
Hello,
I’ve checked the search in Safari browser http://prntscr.com/fxhtic
What browser version do you use?
Regards
version 5.1.7. it’s strange because the search bar will appear sometimes, but it seems to be random.
actually, it now appears that you have to leave the mouse cursor over the search icon for a few seconds for the search bar to appear. this only occurs in safari. this is still not ideal. is it possible to have that popup search box be persistent or always visible so that you don’t have to mouse over it to make it appear?

You can use Loco Translate plugin to change text via translation https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/2_how_to_translate

or copy functions with this text from /woopress/framework/theme-functions.php into function.php of your child theme and change text.

i don’t need to translate any text, i just want to change the wording inside this box: http://prntscr.com/fy3yz7 to something else, like “Site Search” or “Product Search”. is that possible?
Yes, you can change this text in /woopress/framework/theme-functions.php file.
We recommend you to make changes in a child theme.
