Search bar not returning results / jscript error

Hello

We noticed that recently our search bar in the top left corner of the header of our site is whirring and whirring when you search, and not returning any results / product previews as it usually did. Before, it would auto suggest results with a preview without having to hit Enter. Now it doesn´t do this.

Below is the error that I am getting in console that seems related to this.

Our developers have said that they think it is a bug in the theme´s minify script. I updated the theme to the latest version and it doesn´t seem to have helped.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,

Issue caused by Surge plugin. Once I disable that search works ok.

What’s the Surge plugin? We don’t have a plug in with that name?
