Search results for blog page not working, only product search results showing

Hello,

I currently have a search results page for the product search, but I also would like to have a separate one that works just for posts/blog posts

I have created a separate template in the Xstore builders > Search results templates, but whenever I use the search function on the blog page, it still only loads the search results used for the product section.

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Currently, you have two templates available. However, as observed in your video https://prnt.sc/fni7gD5Inb96 only one of them is being applied, which is expected behavior. By default, there is no option to create separate search results pages based on whether you are searching for blog posts or store products. There can only be one unified search results page.

Should your request receive sufficient support from other customers, our development team will carefully consider including it in one of our future updates.

So there is no way to activate the search results for only archive posts? Not archive products?

Hello,

Even the template that we have activated is not being used. It is working correctly on the products search bar, but not in the blog search bar.

And also, even when I have the post search type set to only “posts” its still showing products when searched for.

So every search result will show products? Even if the filter is set to only search for posts?

Hello,

I believe I found a resolution by dynamically showing/hiding containers based on the URL parameter.

The issue is now, the search results template that is set in Xstore builders > Search results is not populating when a user uses the search bar.

Similar to the issue that is in the topic “Xstore Product search template not active”.

Is there a way to activate the search results template on every search bar? The results are showing a random template that I did not create.

We would like to inform you that we have made some adjustments to your setup. Kindly review them at your earliest convenience.

Additionally, please note that you are currently using an outdated theme version (9.4.2). The latest available version is 9.4.5.

If you choose to update to version 9.4.5, the changes we have implemented will be overwritten. However, these fixes will be included in the upcoming theme update, version 9.4.6.

You have two options moving forward:
1. Update to version 9.4.5 now and notify us so we can reapply the changes.
2. Wait for the release of version 9.4.6 and update at that time.

Actually, It did not update. I see an issue with the changes you implemented that were originally solved in the thread “Xstore Product search template not active”.

Now the pop up search bar in the header is not working again. Its now showing the random template that I did not create, not the search results template.

We would like to inform you that we have not made any changes related to the search functionality in the top bar. Even after reverting all our modifications, the top bar continues to function in the same manner as it did with our changes applied.

We kindly request you to update the theme and check if the issue with the template persists. Please note that we do not encounter this problem on the latest version of the theme.

Hello,

I have updated the theme now.

Previous to you applying your changes yesterday, our header search bar was using the Xstore Builder > Search Results template. This issue was previously resolved in the thread “Xstore Product search template not active”. It is suddenly reverted back to the previous issue with it using a random search results template, not the one in the Xstore Builder > Search results.

Can you please help with with reverting the top search bar template as soon as possible and applying the Xstore Builder > Search results template to the blog search bar as well?

We would like to use the Xstore Builder > Search results template on every search bar.
