Hello,
I have my shop page that contains my products and that contains my products and filters.
I have 2 things that I want to add however I couldn’t do it:
1. I want to add a full width section above the contents of the products and filters. I added a static block using “Use custom banner above breadcrumbs” and it works on the main shop page however it does not display on category pages:
Main Page: https://imgur.com/a/bonWJr2
Category Page: https://imgur.com/a/Dq3hePM
How can I make the banner displays on all the shop pages?
2. I tried to add a pre footer section to display under the products and filters however nothing happens. Screenshot:
I also want the pre footer to show on all shop pages.
Thanks!

Hey there Tony. Thanks for the reply
Number 1 works perfectly
For number 2 I followed your steps however the content is aligned only on the part of the page without the sidebar. Also Id like a way to make it full width and not boxed since a section has a background color

Hello Tony,
I followed your instructions however now the static block does not show at all on the shop page:
Hello, @HmirceaD,
1) We have noticed that the footer you have designed using Elementor Pro appears to be overriding the default Footer widgets of the theme. This is likely due to Elementor Pro having a higher priority than the theme’s default widgets.
To display the Theme Footer Widgets, it is necessary to remove the condition of the Footer created using Elementor Pro. Once this is done, the theme’s default footer widgets will reappear. You will then need to recreate the footer using the theme’s default widgets on your site.
Please refer to the attached image for a visual representation of this change.

2) If you are interested in utilizing and displaying the pre-footer and footer under the Appearance > Widgets > Footer column, kindly ensure to first eliminate the footer condition labeled as “The Entire Site” in Elementor Pro.
Kindly proceed to the Appearance section, then select 8theme static block Widgets, followed by pre-Footer column and Footer column. Please adjust the static block as per your needs and verify the changes. For further assistance, you may refer to the following link: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/support/widgets-custom-widget-areas/
We trust this will address your concern.

Hello Tony thanks for the answer.
I also have another issue with full width content static blocks.
I created static blocks to display under the product meta section however I’d also like to make them full width since the background gets cut off for the boxed requirements:

Hello Rose,
I set the container section to full width and also set the page’s settings to full width (in the static block) and I see no change.
Hello, @HmirceaD,
We are pleased to inform you that the issue you reported has been successfully resolved. We kindly request you to revisit your site after clearing your browser cache.
To address the problem, we have activated the Full-width option located under Xstore > Theme Options > Woocommerce > Single product builder > Layout. This action has effectively resolved the issue at hand.
Please refer to the attached image for your reference.

Thanks for the fix for the static block however the fix broke the main product section.
This section needs to be boxed: https://imgur.com/a/J8S7OQG
Could you please fix it? Thanks!
Hello, @HmirceaD,
We’ve disabled the Full-width option via the Single Product builder.
Should you wish to have a single block in full width, we would advise you to reach out to Elementor’s support team for assistance. Regrettably, we do not have an immediate solution available from our theme’s perspective.

Hey there Rose,
I understand no problem.
Is there a solution to make the shop pages full width but keep the content (product columns and filters) boxed to 1140px?
I am running into the same issue as with the product pages with the static blocks:
Thanks!
Hello, @HmirceaD,
Thank you for your response.
Please try to change the Banner Position (Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop Page Layout) to “Above all the shop content (full-width)”

Thanks Rose, it worked well.
I have a question regarding the prefooter. Is there any way to make it not appear on product pages? Thanks!

Hello,
This will remove the prefooter from the shop page correct? I want the prefooter on the shop page, I just don’t want it to appear on the single product pages.
Hello, @HmirceaD,
In this case, the next custom CSS code can be used:
.single-product .prefooter {
display: none;
}
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
Thanks Rose that worked fine.
I ran into an issue with the single product builder.
I added static blocks at the bottom of each product page with the additional custom block feature.
Here I added a section that contains a carousel that displays customer reviews (created with the testimonial carousel in elementor and each review is an elementor template).
The section shows fine on my home page, however on the product page it just displays the shortcode to the template:
