Shop page with single product: problem to customize

    Hi,
    I’m building a site, https://www.blastjump.com/ and the client want a shop page with just a product (the main product, a boot), and after that the category section for the accessories (just a preview, if you click you go in the accessories category page).

    How can I do this with your theme?

    I also tried to do a custom shop page with elementor pro but, while the footer of the theme is correctly included, it is not the same for the header and breadcrumbs.

    How can I fix the problems and build the website as asked by my client?

    Hello, @Ale,

    1- Navigate to the Dashboard >> Static Blocks >> Add New and then create a block and add a product in it, if you want like I did, check the images for a better reference: https://postimg.cc/QKXNwwGb and https://postimg.cc/DJ0B6ymd and https://postimg.cc/r07C91BM once you have saved the block.

    Now, You created a block with a product you want. It’s time to set this on the shop page let’s navigate to the Dashboard >> XSTORE >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Shop >> Shop Page Layout and add the block shortcode there check images: https://postimg.cc/JyNGFbHR and https://postimg.cc/p9R2p3yt now we set the product on the shop page. Now, we need to show the categories on the shop page. Let’s come to the second point.

    2- Simply navigate to the Dashboard >> XSTORE >> Theme Settings >> WooCommerce >> Product catalog then check the image: https://postimg.cc/QKFwNSbG and choose the show categories then check back to your site shop page after clearing the browser cache.

    Hi Tony, thank you very much, you’re awesome!

    I have some other little editing that i cannot do and I ask you to help me please:
    – in the the page https://www.blastjump.com/shop/ I’d like to see the product as in the product page, with the same layout: https://www.blastjump.com/shop/blast-blu/

    – I’d like to have just the category “accessori” under the product, and not the “scarpe” category.

    – if I click in the shop page on the category “accessory”, I go on the page https://www.blastjump.com/product-category/accessori/ (correct) but the breadcrumbs are ” HOME > SHOP> SHOP > ACCESSORI”, there is a “shop” link more than ideal.

    How can I fix these problems?

    Hello, @Ale,

    1- Sorry to say, that there is no option in the theme nor there is any widget available like this on the shop page you cannot make it as it appears on the single product page except for customization.

    2- In order to solve your issue simply go to the Dashboard >> XStore >> Theme OPtions >> Theme Custom CSS >> Global and paste the below code at the bottom of the CSS box there.

    .woocommerce-shop .product-category:first-child{display:none !important;}

    Then save settings and check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

    3- To solve your issue simply go to the Dashboard >> XStore >> Theme Options >> Theme Custom CSS >> Global and paste the below code at the bottom of the CSS box there.

    .woocommerce-breadcrumb a:nth-child(3){display:none !important;}
    .page-heading .delimeter:nth-child(2){display:none !important;}

    Then save settings and check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

    Hi and thank you for the precious assistance!
    I have few more problems to fix:

    – in the shop page (https://www.blastjump.com/shop/), how can I translate the label “SALE” with red background on the left of the main product?

    – Bredacrumbs are ok in the shop page but if I click on a category (accessori or ricambi), there is a double “shop” link in the breadcrumbs (see https://www.blastjump.com/product-category/ricambi/)

    – Always in the shop page, I translated the product button in “SCEGLI” some month ago but i don’t remember where I did theediting and now i must fix it.

    – In the form of payment page I need to edit it and add the fiscal code field

    – Last but not least, in the categories page like https://www.blastjump.com/product-category/accessori/ I’d like to have product one under the other and not the pagination.

    Can you kindly help me to fix these problems? Thanks a lot!

    Hello, @Ale,

    1- Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop elemets > Sale & Out of Stock > “Sale” Label Text.

    WPML > String translation > scroll down and press on “Translate texts in admin screens” link. You’ll see a list of fields, choose the fields you’d like to translate. For example – http://prntscr.com/10gxxqu After that go back to the String Translation section and translate the necessary content.

    2- I don’t see any issue it is working fine I have checked the link that you shared and here is the resulting image: https://i.is.cc/2eRNweVv.png please check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

    3- Actually you are using 2 language plugins on your site and which might conflicts with one another, so always use the one, If you use the WPML then try not to use the Loco, OR else try to contact the WPML support.

    4- Sorry to say, that there is no option in the theme for this because the form is coming from the WooCommerce plugin and our theme does not have any influence on it. Changes require customization.

    5- The thing you requires is already done on your site as you can see in this video: https://streamable.com/n4elk0

    There is a double “shop” link…

    Hello, @Ale,

    Your issue is resolved now, kindly check back to your site after clearing the browser cache. You have total three categories. I check all of them now, and they appear fine, as you can see in this video: https://streamable.com/cnxhki the issue is caused by the wrong permalink structures for shop/category pages. I have set them to default from the Dashboard >> Settings >> Permalinks as you can see in this image: https://postimg.cc/Z99Bd7X7

    Hello,

    Try to disable “Advanced Layout” in XStore–>Theme Options–>WooCommerce(Shop)–>Cart/Checkout.

    Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop page layout > Products Per Row On Category Page

    Thanks for the reply.
    There is no such option, but maybe custom CSS code can be used to achieve the mentioned result. Please provide 2 links: the product where the Size Guide is needed and from where you want to disable it.

    Go to Single Product Builder > Multiple templates > created a new one and set it for the mentioned product > Publish changes. Then edit the default template and remove the Size Guide element from the content.

    Hi., I’ve still some problem with breadcrumbs.

    For example:
    https://www.blastjump.com/prodotto/blast-personal-azzurro/: breadcrumbs must be “home–> shop –> scarpe -> blast personal azzurro ”

    https://www.blastjump.com/prodotto/arco-nero/: breadcrumbs must be “home–> shop –> ricambi –> Arco Nero”

    https://www.blastjump.com/prodotto/scarpetta-interna-paio/: breadcrumbs must be “home–> shop –> ricambi –> Scarpetta interna”

    https://www.blastjump.com/prodotto/set-2-elastici/: breadcrumbs must be “home–> shop –> accessori –> set 2 elastici”

    how can I fix these problems?

    Hi, I tried to fix with permalinks but there is still a problem to fix.

    Bradcrumbs are perfect for “regular” pages, shop page and single product pages.

    But in the category pages there are duplicated links (ex. https://www.blastjump.com/categoria-prodotto/scarpe/ has “home > shop > shop > scarpe scarpe”).

    And the single post pages miss the last delimiter “>” (ex. https://www.blastjump.com/venice-marathon-experience/ has “home > blog > category name post name).

    How can I fix these problems?

    Hi, I published the ecommerce pages in italian but there is a problem: on the checkout page (https://www.blastjump.com/pagamento/) I can pay just if I flag the option “Spedire ad un indirizzo differente?” (send to a different address).
    If I don’t compile that part of form, I cannot pay and there is a message error that say I missed to fill the address field.

    How can I fix this bug?

    Hello, @Ale,

    Could you please check it once by activating the default WordPress Theme like Twenty Twenty Two, just to make it sure that the issue is with our theme or not? I think this issue is independent from our theme.

    And if the issue will still persist with the default WordPress Theme as well, then I suggest you to reach out to the WooCommerce support for getting further help on this.
