Hello,
I noticed that you removed the shortcodes.php file. Now, all of my shortcodes ([et_top_cart],…) stopped working. How can I fix this?
Hello,
All the shortcodes were moved to Royal core plugin according to ThemeForest requirements.
Update Royal Core plugin to version 1.1 at least if you updated theme to 6.0 version. Don’t forget to install Redux and CMB2 plugins – plugins after the 6.0 update.
Regards
Thank you.
Thats exacelty what I did: Royal version 6.0.0, Royal Core 1.1.0, Redux and CMB2.
Then I deactivated all other plugins, only Royal Core, Woocommerce, Reduc & CMB2 are active.
But still all my shortcodes dont work..
Hello,
Provide us with Dashboard and FTP access to your site to check.
Regards
Please find temporary access in private content. Please do not publish my website. Thank you.
I just installed them for testing and indeed, it seems that Visual Composer is now needed, otherwise all shortcodes dont work. But I dont need VC. I dont want to install 3 more plugins- in addition to the 3 other required ones – so 6 plugins needed in order for 1 theme to work?!.
That makes no sense at all. Installing such a huge plugin I dont need just to show the shortcodes. Could you please tell me what to do to fix this without Visual Composer? It worked so well with the previous versions…
The cart is fixed. Please check now.
Regards
Thank you. What did you change in order to make the cart working?
Anyway, there are other shortcodes that dont work anymore, e.g. the static blocks shortcode like [block id=“1055″] or [etheme_products categories=“47″ order=“rand“ desktop=“5″ notebook=“5″ tablet=“4″ phones=“1″].
They only work when Visual Composer is active, but I dont want this huge unneeded plugin to be active…
Any help would be really appreciated.
Hello,
Fixed. Check now.
Regards
Great, thank you very much!
Would you please let me know what you changed so that I can make these changes after updates?
Hello,
You are welcome.
This is the theme issue and new update of Royal core plugin includes the fix. We made changes in core plugin files.
Regards
Perfect, thank you very much!
One more thing: Just noticed that the [toggle_block] shortcode doesnt work anymore. How can I fix this?
On which page do you use the shortcode? Please provide a URL.
Regards
Please check the shortcode now.
Regards
Works, great, thank you! What did you change?
Changes were done in files of the Core plugin, and will be included in the next update.
Regards
Could you please tell me anyway? Because you made the changes on my testsite and I would like to do them on my live site now.
Changes were done in shortcodes.php wp-content/plugins/royal-core/inc folder and in files of royal-core/inc/shortcodes folder.
You can compare files to see changes or just take the royal-core plugin to the live site.
Regards
I’m also having this problem, all required plugins are installed and updated. I also get the warning that v6.0 is required and I have 6.1, I also get the warning 1.1.1 Royal core plugin is required when it is installed? When i the update coming out, or can you fix my installation too?
Hey, if anyone else having this issue. Just solved it. Originally when I updated the plugin via the normal wordpress update procedure (clicking update). I had all these problems. I downloaded the Royal Core 1.1 directly from 8theme and re-installed it. This seems to fixed all the issues.
Hello, @ pablostevens
Yes, re-installing of the core plugin helps to solve the issue. Also, next time it would better to create the individual topic and provide Dashabord access to your site to get fast and helpful answer.
